Need to test two conditions: * under load (the brushless recip saw is fairly demanding when cutting solid wood like with a pruning blade and large branch) * capacity - how long the battery lasts, preferably under a large load and under a small load like a light or fan I've purchased a few generic replacements. I typically take them apart and look at the cells. They never have had cells labeled with the capacity required to build a pack with the advertised capacity. They do not provide the same power as a ryobi battery with the same spec cells (forget about the advertised spec) and they do not last near as long with anything requiring significant power. That said, they work well for lights, fans, the bug zapper, and similar light load gadgets. But that is only when comparing the actual capacity of the cells, not the advertised capacity of the pack.

You can more than likely resuscitate your original Ryobi pack. It's more than likely an individual battery cell that's fallen below minimum voltage levels. You just need to open up the pack, put a multimeter on each of the cells to figure out which cell is low, and then just zap that cell with some voltage to get it up to where the other cells are testing, then the pack will charge just fine.

How do you reset it? I set a password, but can’t remember it… I have tried to reset, bit still asks for password every time

On your keyboard demo you show increasing or decreasing brightness by pressing the up or down (with light symbol on it) to adjust brightness. On mine it increases or decreases the volume and sometimes scrolls the page up or down. Any clue how to adjust brightness on mine ? I have the KN213DG and on iMac if that makes a difference. Thanks again for this HELPFUL video. I'll be forever grateful because I can now share the home movies my dad took in the 1960s that were transferred from 8mm tapes to VHS in the early 2000's. And now that nobody has VCRs anymore, everyone can watch these home movies once again. Hi. Do you have any "best practices" advice regarding file sizes? My home movies are 2 hours and 23 minutes long with a total file size of 34.31GB. (I went with a Recording Format of MPEG-4 (.mp4) and a Recording Quality of Indistinguishable Quality; Large File Size.) How would you recommend I break up the videos? Maybe into 15 minute increments? Or would you recommend something else? Thank you!

First unit arrived w no owners manual. Amazon replaced w new unit. So I first tried setting up first unit, turns out camera would not accept a charge, so original buyer returned it wo manual. Unit sold again to me. Then working on new unit, got app installed, but could not register or set up because the app will no accept or search for country of origin. WO that, it just sits there, can't work around, proceed and come back. It's useless. Only contact w mfr is via e mail. Lord only knows how long that will take.

Pretty good step by step video. Funny thing, I had those machines many many years ago except my SV 2000 was a DVD recorder and my GE vhs was stereo. My buddy and I always bought the GE/RCA/Thompson Electronics vhs machines because they ignored copy guard tapes. We could rent movies and copy them to exchange with one another. The old days of VHS. One more thing... I have a few different capture programs and they work well and I know most people recommend OBS and I can see why however I've always found it to be a bit overwhelming especially for beginners I have talked to. A lot of stuff going on in OBS.

It's unlikely the tiny solar panel will actually charge it unless you can completely turn the radio off. Most of these will display the clock time and date even when "off". Solar power may extend standby time but power gen from solar is miniscule.

I still cannot get the audio to work. I have a MacBook so I do not know if it is something with laptop or what. I add the source and everything works great except for the audio. When I add the source and name it, it does not show up under the audio mixer like yours did. I do not know if using a USBC cord has something to do with it. I do not have actual USB ports on my MacBook. I do not what's going on with it. I have been trying this out for days and nothing happens.

It looks to me that only 30fps and not 60fps are recorded. Am I wrong? 🤔

It worked well except for some reason the size of the picture on the video was huge unless I went to Properties and watched the video on that setting and it was fine. Any clues on that. Now this is just watcing the video, not recording. thanks.
