Bubinga inlay around a parquet sapele border brings definitition and delight!

Thick veneer tiles come together quickly to create this sapele border pattern. It starts with random angle cuts at the tablesaw.

I use this method a lot to create table legs when I need thickness for the leg shape and joinery, but I don't have thick stock to work from. Joining mirror image pieces with a long grain miter solves the problem.
