The Allied Doctrine is very solid, and incredibly overpowered if used correctly in the the end and mid games. It is however, weak, especially the early game, because all of its unit buffs are for late game, expensive units. Yet its research buff compensates for this lost.

@Carl Regan To know if an opponent is threatening or not look at their stats. Things to look out for: Player K/D, if above 1 be wary. Province K/D, if above 3 be wary of enemy airpower. And finally, Win/Lose Ratio. Most likely most important. If they win almost every game, you need to be SUPER careful and try your best to ally them. They may most likely win the game.
