Thomas Drake
Thomas Drake is a former senior executive of the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). Thomas Drake raised concern about mishandling of funds and possible violations of the American constitution. He blew the whistle within the prescribed channels but realised the whistleblowing route was ineffectual. Drake’s unswerving loyalty to the American constitution left him with no other choice then to go to the media. As a consequence he was prosecuted under the Espionage Act. Hear his full story here

Kathryn Bolkovac, you are My Hero. Your courage to persevere - against All Odds - to speak out against the immense patriarchal force abusing their power in the name of 'Peace' is...Beautiful. Your strength, your caring heart, and your kind soul shine a light in the Evil and Ugly side of men with Power. The very men who are there to protect the weak and abused... How can these men enslave and sell sex using innocent children, girls, and young women for Money and To Satisfy Their Own Deviated Sexual Fantasies is beyond my comprehension! Worse yet, how can UN tried to cover up your report?! The whole thing made me feel disgusted and ill, to put it mildly. I thank you, Kathryn, for being a Force to Reckon with... representing women who have lost their voices. I cried. I cringed. I got angry. And, I felt emotionally depleted watching 'The Whistle Blower.' It is by far one of the hardest movies I seen on sexual abuse and trafficking. It was so, because the Evil Men were The Unexpected Type. But, that's what Real Evil Is. Isn't It? Evil Comes in The Disguise of HOPE... And, then, it takes it away...forever... After all, HOPE is all that's left... And, that's what broke my heart and soul into tiny irreplaceable pieces, when watching your movie. Yet, while there is a Kathryn Bolkovac and more people like you in the world... there's still hope to be had. Few people can deal or confront the ugliness of humanity, but You Did! Thank you Kathryn Bolkovac for standing up for girls and women and giving them the strength to fight their oppressors back.

I’m here because I was watching the whistle blower and honestly I couldn’t watch all the movie,I’m 43 years old and find myself getting emotional and very sensitive to this kind of story and I wondered if it was based on a true story or not. To my horror it actually was and when I found this out I just had to look up info on Kathryn, I live here in the uk and we are told how Putin is the one in the wrong and is crazy or immoral and our government judge themselves as having the moral high ground and are the good guys,we are told NATO and the UN are different and are good but how can western Governments NATO and the UN Have any shred of integrity. It truly is shocking to hear these poor young women are abused and taken advantage of in these horrendous ways and yet no one in authority does anything, how can those men who worked as UN peacekeepers go home to their families knowing what they have done and some who will even have daughters of their own even look into the eyes of their children and even live with themselves. This world is f@@ked full of hatred greed corruption and division that makes me believes earth is hell and when we die it’s the only place where we get true peace justice and equality but the sad part is you no longer exist to enjoy it.

Goes to show once again how many are involves in corruption society is not there for protection more for greed . Just watched ' the Vaticans girl ' and once again all corruption. What she went through was a horror but not surprising. I grew up in New York City, USA and during the 1970s and through 1980s, maybe later, where in a different area of Manhattan, Times Square, the boy child prostitutes known as "chicken boys" were sex trafficked mainly in the Times Square area of Manhattan. It was well known in the area, not even a secret. The Times Square train station there was a haven for boy and girl children runaways including pre-teens and younger children, mainly from the Midwest, and the children were sex trafficked mainly on the West Side of Manhattan and probably elsewhere. It was not Bosnia or Croatia, but the USA. Then, about 15 years ago, I was watching a TV program live hearing in NYC about child sex trafficking in New York City on C-Span, I recall it was C-span and the news said the children that were speaking out about their abuse would not be named, but they put the cameras right on them identifying them, they were young teens. I live in Upstate, NY but grew up in NYC seeing how much organized crime and law enforcement corruption there was back then and abuse of young homeless kids, victimized by the system.

Afraid still happening in the NHS. Staff are too afraid to speak up due to the position and status of those directors/CEOs of Trusts. Same people with power who are responsible for your salary which one needs to support one’s family. Thank you for being a principled clinician, for having the courage and determination to speak up. You can go through the correct channels with your concerns but often it gets nowhere. Often you are shut down and eased out of your position- treated as the trouble maker.

Please do not use the phrase sex work in this context. (Your video text says ‘demand for sex work increased during this period.) We are talking about the trafficking and rape of children and you are minimising and sanitising it to a horrifying extent with this use of language.

It just goes to show that power corrupts...and power with immunity...well that just sounds like people are able to play God. United Nations...just those words evoke humanity coming together for the good of all...yet its just a marketing slogan for a money making operation. All for 'fiat' money at that...no real wealth for humanity or spirt. As much as people can be amazing, kind, empathetic they can also be c*nts! here after the film 'whistle blower'. I was only a kid when this happened so never knew. However being older now it doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
