Unreellife goes to Mexico without a fishing Rod
I haven’t tried that no. Does everything show up pretty clear even in salt water?
Have you tried using the panoptix ps30 transducer, with the Garmin PS31 mount. We use this alot in the Nordics to fish Salmon in 120-200 feet of salt water. Works well and with beam angle of 135x40 you see alot more.
Use mine when trolling for Murray Cod. Love watching fish attacking lures.
It’s pretty cool.
does the camera show live on your'e phone?
No, it records onto an internal drive to view afterwards.
@@unreellife thats what i thought:) thanks for the video!
pin bones only go down the head half of the fish no need to waste meat on the tail half
Hey! Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it! I actually didn’t know that.
Nice fish guys, thanks for sharing.
What’s the other camera are you using?
Hey thanks for watching! The underwater camera I was using was the aqua vu strike vu camera.
We call'm PEE's, Performance Enhancing Electronics
Can you give the sizes of the winners?
I’ll make sure I do that next time.
Awesome video I would try it without the grid up 👍👍
You’re right! It’s so much better without the grid. I had just purchased it at time of video and didn’t even know you can take the grid off! lol
I’ve been debating between this and the 850xd for a while. Still can’t decide. I will use it for winter camping and fishing
If you’re by yourself, the 650 would probably work, if you’re with someone or a couple of others, extra room certainly is a bonus. Personally, I liked the “rounder” shape over the rectangle otherwise I would have bought the 850. Either way, Eskimo makes good insulated tents. Let me know what you get!
Not worth the up grade no 4000 setting eats gas like crazy.. in power down small space will be to hot 2 half the run time on 20 pound. I run 4000 to stay consistent warm cant cook and heat at same time the flex is a flop. You can't find in store any. More the masses have spoken little demand tons of big buddies again with little buddies on shelf no flex or flop 🤮🤣
Definitely worth the upgrade
You enjoying the buddy flex heater?
Yeah it is awesome. I love the cooktop attachment it starts easy some things I would change but understand why they did them (ie the knobs on the back of the unit and the cooktop not being able to run with the heater at the same time) great unit though
Are they both run on propane ? Do all the MrHeaters run on propane or no ?
Yes, They are both run on the little green propane bottles. You can buy attachments to have them run on larger propane tanks.
Great video! How fast were you trolling?
Hey thanks for the comment! I was trolling at 1.75-2mph.
How do you adjust the front view so you can see more than 30ft?
On the screen there is a manual adjustment ( + or - button )to increase or decrease the range of depth or distance. Hey thanks for watching!
450xd 4 person awesome set
How much did it cost you for the Garmin display only and Livescope Plus? I had looked at a setup but it was over $3,000. What unit are you using and cost?
I bought the Garmin echomap 75 plus on sale at cabelas for about $700, then 4 years later bought the livescope LVS32 for around $1500cdn on sale. I don’t have the livescope plus though. That is a better system. What display unit was it?
Not sure now what unit but it was a bigger maybe 10" screen then you are using. It wasn't a Echomap unit. I believe it was a GPS only unit but will display LiveScope. It was a combo package with unit that displays only and Livescope Plus. We already had the Humminbird Si GPS G4N so I went with the Mega Live. We do river fishing for salmon on the Columbia River and Willamette River. I wanted it to search for fish and do landscape to watch trolling gear and where the fish are and if interested in what I'm using. Several guides now use live transducers and say it is really frustrating when you see fish and they won't bite. Also real excited to watch them come in one your gear and bite.
Hey! Thanks for the watching! Glad to help.
Thanks for the review. Was looking at upgrading after watching your video I have made the decision to not upgrade.
thx for the great vid. any idea how it would work backtrolling rivers, about 8-12' of water, for salmon and steelhead?
It should work. How far back do you set your lines?
thx for the reply. it depends, of course, but usually 40 to 60'. I was hoping mainly that I can use it to target fish and get the plugs right on top of them.@@unreellife
@@jkline999 so far I have been able to see my lure “live” in action up to 70’ behind the boat. If you put a pivotable mount at the back of the boat you should be able to use it for your application. The “cone” shooting out back is only 20 degrees wide. I think I might do a video and test it for this application!
It's getting better the technology. Thanks for the video!
It is! Hey, thanks for watching! I appreciate the comment.
I typically flat line troll for musky/pike with 85 feet of line in 20-35 fow. Would the livescope work that far back?
Hey thanks for watching! So, I've been able to see my gear fairly clearly up to 100ft back. Of course the sensitivity (Gain) can be adjusted as well. I have not tried it back more than that yet. It would probably would.......it's supposed to see up to 200' any direction. Detail starts to fade the further you try to look. You thinking of purchasing one?
@@unreellife Not really. 1800 for a transducer puts it out of reach for me. I'll have to stick to my Hook 7 for now.
Hook 7 still a great unit!
@@unreellife certainly beats my old Eagle X65! Lol
You need to change your lure
Yes. You are correct. That’s what the collected data showed. I’ve had few more outings to get used to using it……hey thanks for watching and the feedback!
Your welcome, I enjoyed watching it.
Thanks for the great new option for the livescope! I might try with bottom bouncer and spinner here in Kansas usa. New subscriber. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
What a great video and application!! Never thought about using it to troll! Super cool
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it! Planning on doing another one about trolling soon.
Love the underwater footage!
Me too!!whoot whoot!
At the end of the rainbow is a Bosch multi tool!

Looks like a great day.
It’s really something to be out there in the sun with white all around

Thanks! They were delicious!
Nice fish! Cool footage
Hey thanks for watching!
Totally seen my truck parked, it was a good day.
We’re you around at the weigh in as well?

Thanks!
Broskies!
Nice Bows!🎉
sets up in less than a minute, don't skip the anchors though, they are crucial, I love my 650 XD so far, 5 minutes and your ready to fish
You’re right! I only skipped the anchors because I thought they would be self explanatory, but I realize they might not be. Thanks for watching!
I am always feeling it!
Buddy, you’re always on!
Cute kittens you got 😂
Im a dog guy. I'm allergic to kittens
The Eagle footage was phenomenal!
Thank you! It was something else to see it so close
Interesting to watch you, in Canada, not using the metric system. Thank you! Otherwise, I would've had to use Google! I love the idea of using a Kokanee set up! A few local lakes hold large trout, and decent Kokanee populations. I'm going to try this!
Please let me know, I’d love to hear if it works for you!
I love my buddy flex🥶lights all the time 🫡
That’s awesome. My new one seems to be working well so far which is nice.
Great video thanks for sharing . I just bought the Eskimo Outbreak™ 850XD, Pop-Up Portable Shelter, Insulated, 7-9 Person, it’s still in the box I’ll be opening it with my daughter on Saturday but won’t be using it cause ice isn’t ready yet 😢 I can’t wait lol
Oh man that’s awesome! They are such a game changer when it comes to staying out on the ice on the colder weather. Would love to hear what you think of it after you use it!
What do you mean you cant cook with the old unit?
😂
Great review and heads up on the new models before a purchase.
Thanks! I appreciate the comments!
I guess I’ll take the new model of my wish list then. Great review!
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Can’t wait to eat it ❤
Tasty looking kokanee! Hoping to catch more than your dad next week on Hwy 24🤣
650 is very big,
It is, but also good for ice camping.
A lot like the otter resort I have I do like the three doors though very similar though
You’re right. I have found the top brands to be pretty similar. I like the color of the tent you’ve got.
@@unreellife yeah they’re all bad ass my buddy has a quick fish 949 non insulated it’s real nice for day trips and has shoulder straps on the bag
@@danielreynolds1715 does it have the black plastic that starts to crack on the inside? Or does it have the same material on the inside as on the outside?
@@unreellife I think it has the black material
Tent is a beauty! Nice tutorial 👍🏼
