The march became more famous after its arrangement by Viktor Hutsal, who merged the march with the folk song about Doroshenko and Sahaidachny (Hey, on the hilltop the reapers reap).

Before, I listened to the same music, except the 'Arabic banner' word was replaced with the word 'banner of Islam'. Does anyone know why? Thank you.

It’s because the “Banner of Islam” version actually came *after* the Arab Banner version. The original song, “Glory to You, O Arab Banner!” was written during, for, and by a Pan-Arabist era. The more recognised song, “Glory to You, O Banner of Islam!” was a re-writing of the original song by Islamists (Of which I do not know who or why yet). It’s popularity is somewhat linked to Saddam Hussein, due to what I believe might’ve been either religion-related reasons or the song playing in Saddam Hussein edit/tribute videos. What I do know about the latter song is that it *might’ve* had some extreme connotations - but I *do not know enough* to say anything definitive about it yet.

Where did you get the footage from at the start of the video? Can't find it nowhere
It’s from the Associated Press (AP), which keeps several archived videos regarding the Ba’athist Iraq era (At least those that their crews could personally film). The second footage comes from a video recording by UA-camr Rontor, who recorded the footage of the Iraqi Satellite Television broadcast in the opening hours of the Iraq War.

Sorry for the late response! It's now deleted, sadly, but I can tell you that I got it from one of the archive videos on the NASWHAN-CH1 channel. The thumbnail was a vignette of the old Iraqi flag, waving, (with three stars) and the logo of IRAQ TV next to it. (Also, for some reason, YT seems to hate putting links in comments at times?)
