Looking at the incredible story of Chris Sutter and how his bravery helped change the entire Sutter family.
Favorite night of the week , rip bob . You,are the greatest
I own a business and the greatest employee I've ever hired had down syndrome.
The best ever!
RIP to a legend of the game!
Gotta bring him to flames games
Thanks for sharing this years later so busy but snuck in the games even with the sound down. Sawadee Khap.🤠
What a great legacy this family has created. On the farm a Canadian family. Making it. Great story. Didn't know about Chris. Seems like a good kid.
A great story of a great family told by a great storyteller, Stephen Brunt...
I'm about Chris's age and grew up watching the flames in the early 2000's. My dad had season tickets a few rows over from Chris and his effect on the fans was amazing. He'd always be busting out the dance moves, starting chants and getting everyone hyped up.
Kind glossed over how Sutter won the Cup in Calgary, but the league changed the definition of a goal, that apparently crossing the goal line wasn't enough to count, it had to hit the back of the net
It was in!!
The docs and nurses are very good at trying to talk you into “just letting go”. Actually they’re pro’s at it. Be careful everyone.
How can you not love this story?
Without Chris I'm not sure if the LA Kings would have won the cup. He was such an inspiration in the stance to us fans and the team. Chris will always be a champion.
This is real life..sports is entertainment only.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Heb 9:27) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
God bless Darryl and family.
Incredible capture. Wow. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming video. <3
Amazing story, more respect for this family and Chris
Kopitar seems like a pretty solid guy as well.
Chris and the whole Sutter family are beautiful people. What a heartwarming story.
Love the Sutters tough, well brought up good ole Alberta Boys!
This just shows that you don't underestimate kids that are born with syndromes cuz their going to prove you wrong, especially the stupid doctors.
Chris's name should be on the cup.
Maybe we should contact the NHL Front Office and pitch the idea to the league. Each year the league champion will get to select one non-participant member that helped drive the teams success in winning the Cup. Name this honor after Chris Sutter and have this person's name etched along with the "official" players, coaches, medical staff, etc..that earned their place there. What an honor this would be.
"It took half a second to tell that doctor what his job is" Lets Fn gooooooooo!!!! love it RESPECT
mange dla marde
“It took half a second to tell that doctor what his job is”. Classic Sutter matter of fact and to the point. Love it
The Sutters and the Plagers, none tougher, none harder working, none with bigger hearts.
Great story!
Wow-this is an amazing story and I had no idea. Thank you for posting!!
Such an awesome story!
Everyone loves Chris when he's at the Kings Games the entire Staples Center smiles. He's amazing.
I was so sad when LA let Sutter go. They did so much for our franchise and Chris brought a lot of happiness and joy to us fans. Thank you!
Yeah, well I was happy when he came back to Calgary. He and assistant coach Martin Gelinas helped them through their best season in years.
With all the ugliness in Hollywood this is a good antidote. The Sutter family is a class act. We miss Darryl, but one of my friends went to the Tampa Bay game last week and Chris was there dancing again. The crows went nuts.
Gift from above.
There is a lot of garbage in sports, egos, violence, substance abuse, crime you name it. This family that is such a huge presence in the NHL shines like a beacon in the night. Darryl and Wanda and Chris bring class to the LA Kings and Los Angeles. Thanks, Sutter family
getzy wife is hot
Almost all the wife`s of hockey players are hot :)
I wish down syndrome wasn't a thing
I don't. Down Syndrome brings so many happy people into the world. However many bad results can come, they are happier than anyone and light up a room when they walk in.
Co sign
@KoivuTheHab care to enlighten me then?
@KoivuTheHab I understand your point of view but I think if my child was downs, I would love that he/she was that way also.
So that's why the Kings won......Chris...he brings something to the team that no team has: heart. Encouragement. Support. Love. I wish I can meet him one day.
Pulling for ya Hawkin! Praying for a cure. Hang tough young man. Saw you at a game last season. Hope to meet you one day.
I'm getzlaf's biggest fan...
Awesome video/story...thanks for sharing
Excuse me, but... Trump Tower didn't exist in '93. This is factually inaccurate and this video has been reported.
You're a complete idiot JC for that comment
Trump tower was built in 1983.....
Your comment is factually inaccurate and that comment is reported.
James Christie why are you reporting about Cris Sutter of the LA.KINGS.A FARM BOY BE FROM ALBERTA CANADA
