In 2017 I got tingling and burning on my feet and know one know the cause . I was only 30 and I have no diabetes, no Lyme, no MS. I spent 20 thousands doller on doctor bill and got no result!!! What about herniated disc induced radiculopathy causing numbness and cramping in the calves and feet? My DC is treating me with laser therapy as part of a comprehensive decompression treatment with the DRX9000 and occasional flexion/distraction table. What are the protocols for effective results using laser therapy for this kind of neuropathy? I've had 7 treatments of about 15 minutes each leg and still no real noticeable effects. Ive been getting a lot of tingling in my face and neck since a chiropractic adjustment a few months ago. Xray and mri didnt find anything. Two weeks ago the tingling randomly spread to my arms and legs. My fingers sometimes get numb when im holding my phone. Its getting in the way of my job and my hobbies. I was prescribed gabapentin but afraid to take it because of potential side effects.

That medication I really can’t say it was bad what was bad was the way the did it mostly se never follow the direction regarding the medicine to people of my age. The things are so bad because the pain has increased and now they are always hot so i need to used constant getting my feet cold so sometimes I can’t sleep because the hot increase 2hen I am in bed beside i also suffer from restless legs syndrome so my situation is bad right now I am going to acupuncture but because i have other health issues is a little complex I am try my best but I don’t have a lot knowledge in repeat my problems

I was diagnosed in 1999 with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. Again in 2012. I was also diagnosed with diabetes Type 2 in 2014 (provoked through Spiricort given to suppress symptoms of Polymyalgia Rheumatica) and had a heart attack in 2019. For neuropathic pain relief I was started on Gabapentin and Cymbalta. Because of horrid cognitive side effects, Cymbalta was switched out for Effexor. Unfortunately, these cognitive side effects didn't stop, so I stopped using them. Since about 2014 I've been taking instead of the Cymbalta/Effexor & Gabapentin (as it stands 25. Nov. 2023): R-Lipoic Acid 300 (240) mg - 1-1-1-1 Acetyl-L-Carnitine 750 mg - 1-1-0-1 N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 1000 mg - 1-0-1-0 Omega 3 (fish oil) 1000 mg - 1-0-1-0 Borage Oil 1000 mg (GLA = Gamma Linolenic Acid) - 1-1-1-0 (stopped 1. nov. 2023) Magnesium 100 mg - 1-1-1-1 These above have helped some. I came to use these through exclusionary processes. IOW, I'd take a substance for a while, noting sensations. Then I'd stop and see what happens. These above “passed” this exclusionary process. If I noticed an increase in severity of symptoms when stopping a substance, I could conclude, that it was actually helpful when I was taking it. I then added Benfotiamine starting on 15.08.2023. Helped greatly, most overt pain gone, but numbness still prevalent (time of writing 22.12.2023). Some stomach ache if dosage is over 150mg, so I take 100/150mg 1-1-0-0 / 150mg 0-0-1-0 and 250mg before going to bed (0-0-0-1) - I don't get stomach ache before going to sleep or during the night. I then added on September 5, 2023 (as it stands 25. I had severe neuropathy. I went strict keto. It did take some time to see improvements. However, I’d say now I’m 95% better. Rarely do I get a flare up. If I eat sugar or fried foods it may cause one.

Hi there - my dad currently has neuropathy in his feet & currently has a bout with diabetic foot which has seen 3 of his toes on one foot with dry gangrene. He has started HBO treatments and will continue to do so for 20 weekdays straight. He has started having a pain in his left foot (where the gangrene is) whenever he tries to put pressure on the foot. He can't walk for very long and has now seen his quality of life completely diminish in the last week. Is there anything that can be done for the pain? Would TENS even be an option?
