I love this spot. I'm a local in Newport. We call it Bass Rock. I snorkel there for huge crawl dads too. I watched your trout video where your by the pigeon house by the bridge as well. Great videos. You should try some lures from Bad Dads Jigs for the bass. And he has trout lures too.

Drill a grid of 10 or 15 holes, couple shallow, couple deeper (gas auger is a must).. and poke a fish flasher down a hole, jig it for a minute or two with a krocodile or a kastmaster, something with good action.. if you don't see anything come up on the chart within a couple minutes move to the next one. Do that until you see one and fish that hole for a bit. Makes it more of a hunt and less of a guessing game.

Great video dude! The Pend Oreille is my new front yard and I Am the worst fisherman ever but I love it.I fished every day for a good long time intermittently off the coast of southern California and I never catch anything.I am a real fisherman at heart I'm just doing it wrong.I fish everyday as close to 4 PM till I have to go in and i have continued my long standing tradition of not getting a fishing license cuz i dont really need one cuz i never catch shxt. So thank you for the last 3 min of this video where you explain what you're using.Any further advice basic or otherwise on what to use and how to use it would be cool.
