Stock ‘14 Nissan 370z Drag Racing
Decided to bring my 2014 sport touring z34 6 speed manual to the drag strip to test it out. It is full weight (even the spare tire) with an all oem engine, just has a full exhaust. Next year I’ll have some more sauce and test it out again!

Beautiful build. This is definitely a no-shortcuts type of build. How does that OS giken clutch feel?
Honestly it feels great, I have had a puck type clutch on my yellow Z and that sucked compared to the twin disc. There’s just a lot of noise from it

Yessir! They’re 18x8 I think 40 offset with 1 inch spacers all around

@@sigvision4189 definitely, both other times we pulled these we dropped the trans from below then pulled the engine straight out. Because I don’t care about this shell figured I’d try this method
@UnderRatedGarageYT no one likes pulling a trans from under the car especially laying on your back lol. Now putting the new one back in that way may be dicey but go for it imo
What size are the 2 hole saw bits you used?

3000gt things. Make sure the oil pan isn’t dented in the slightest bit or you’ll be rebuilding that motor in no time.

@@UnderRatedGarageYT I rebuilt my 3000gt engine myself minus machine shop boring the block. I would rebuild engines full time if I didn't have to rely on it for income because then it would become a job 🙃
@@sigvision4189 awesome! I am planning to use my crank and rods from my other VG30 to replace the scored ones without using a machine shop, hoping no further damage was done.
Reminder to disconnect have the asc off and to get a gr performance exhaust Off topic: (Is it possible to remove the cat on a gr performance exhaust without cutting it out?)
@@berserkerkev_666 yes, since this video she has installed aftermarket headers and front pipe that remove the OEM cats, but still has the GR performance exhaust.
