That’s not true world scale is for the eye ipd. If you have a 65ipd set world scale to 97 but it’s shown in the open xr menu. the real world scale in ams2 is ingame which I have about 90 percent which makes the game more faster and natural for me. just compare the seize of the ingame wheel with the one at home. that’s it

Hallo, wenn ich ACC mit der OpenVr.dll von Opencomposite starte habe ich kein FFB bei meiner CSL DD Base. Mit der original openvr DLL von steamvr geht es wieder aber halt nur im steamvr Modus. Nicht OpenXR. Jemand ne Idee? Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Can't get Foveated Rendering to show up in the Toolkit menu - using OpenXR, the API is installed and the G2 should support "fixed" mode... no idea what I'm missing.

OK, this is really weird... I've had OpenComposite working brilliantly on both Assetto Corsa and AMS2 for a while now, but just in the last couple of months they both stopped being able to run OpenComposite. Any idea what may have changed?

It seems World Scale is just a zoom. When you zoom in the angle changes when looking left and right making it super unnatural.

Also ich bin 2019 dort gefahren, 2 Rennen. Wenn man gut ist kann man definitiv 48er zeiten fahren, es hängt halt davon ab wieviel vor einem los ist, und vor allem an der richtigen stelle den Boost zu aktivieren ohne das es dort Energieverschwendung ist.

Anyone have an issue with the command not working in game. Also I can’t use opencomposite with open xr. The game crashes if I have it enabled. It only works with steam vr. But the commands won’t work Edit: i fixed it, my ini file wasn’t converting so I had to disable “hide extensions for known file types” in file explorer. Now I can use open xr and open composite. Other than that I followed the steps in the video like normal. So far I only test ac, dirt2, and ams2. Ams2 does not have the control f2 menu

Very nice and helpful, finally my headset is crisp and perfomant! I had the problem of a black ring being in my vision that didnt even fully go to the edges of the screen, turns out you have to turn off Single Pass Stereo in Extra VR Settings in Content Manager. After I did that the resolution got ten times better too, like the resolution settings in the ctrl+f2 menu didnt work before.

I have an issue with starting ams2 with openxr. How to do that? In steam I seitched ams2 to steamvr and expected to see the openxr popup ingame. Unfortunately it does not appear. I got a Quest3. Maybe you know what to do?

Hey, it's old but im having issues trying to run the game with opencomposite, i can run with occulus rift, and i can run with openvr in steamvr, but if i select opencomposite i get a crash when ever i try to boot up a session, any ideas?

Just to make sure at 3:36 when we make the file we click new them text document then name it opencomposite.ini then we put in the hiddenmeshvertical thing?

Whenever I use VD to open the Dirt exe after applying everything in the video, the game will not run in VR. All it does is run on the virtual screen inside VD app. OK, for anyone having this issue, try renaming the d3d11.dll in your Dirt Rally 2.0 folder to something like d3d11.dll.orig. This worked for me, and the game boots into XR mode without Steam or Steam VR.

I followed these settings to the T and for some reason I am only getting around 70 fps max. I am also running a 3080 ti and 7800x3d. I used your settings on AMS2 and they work amazing locked at 90 fps.

I wanted to ask if you have an issue now launching AMS2 after a recent opencomposite update? It happened this week and now i cannot start the game using open xr anymore. Have you had an opencomposite update this week? And does AMS2 still work for you in Open XR?

I am so new to this and I'm grateful for the amazing video, however I get totally lost at 11:13 - is this OculusVR? SteamVR? Did you do it via Quest Link? No matter what I do at this point I cannot get that OpenXR menu to show up, and I think I've just made a simple wrong turn somewhere, if you've any idea where, I'd be very grateful. Hi, thanks for this video. I use a quest 3 and if i change the field of view it happens a visual distorsion when i rotate my head also the worlds rotate a little.

This made a huge difference over steamvr, thanks!

Dirt Rally 2. It looks great in video, and amazing game to play, I'm addicted, but I've just tried DR2 in Quest 3 pc vr, somethings really off with the depth man, I'm flat out in 5th gear and it looks like I'm going 10mph? What is with that? Everything is squashed, like 1 mile is squashed down into 100 meters or something 😂, not impressed. Anyone else notice this? Back to flat screen for now as its so much faster

Thank you so much for this video. I am new to Sim racing and VR in general and this actually helped me out a lot. I only have a 3070 but the steps you shared significantly improved my performance. I am now able to play 72hz stable in most races. Thank you once again!

bin hier von ACC :D bei mir springt nicht mal die opencomposite Datei auf Konfiguration um, wenn ich die Textdatei nach von txt auf ini ändere. Soll wohl einfach nicht sein😂

OpenComposite wird bei mir vom PC immer als unsicher gesehen, kann es teils nicht einmal öffnen. als es dann doch mal ging, konnte ich das Toolkit im spiel nicht öffnen, nichtmal im mixed reality Programm.. sonst top Anleitung

Mine doesn't have Foveated Rendering, how can I solve it? I have an RX 6600 From what I saw it supports this Foveated Rendering due to the fact that it is from the 6000 series

I just got the Quest 2, Gutted I never just got the Quest 3 lol, I tried VR 2 years ago but never felt it was worth it, But the Quest 2 and 3 changes that, Plus with the Quest being a Standalone VR, It won't be long before an i9 4090 is in it's own VR headset, And TV glasses will come out, That link to your phone showing you messages and doing video calls or calls by way of your Ray bans, lol... I am buzzing for things like the Medical industry using VR to carry out scenarios in experimentation to practice the real thing, And as always practice makes perfect, lol, There will be concerts next through the Quest, Already Pioneer is setting the DJ world by putting VR decks you can mix on, Mind blown, lol, An that Avatar thing is going to take off like Crazy, There will be NFT avatars if not already lol, And also Education, Extremely important for the younger generation, Putting FUN into learning is a sure fire way of getting youngsters to learn, Anything can ne replicated with VR making the Science Class room a thing of the past, Practical experiments can be done by way of VR, A class room will have kids wearing VR headsets in the near distant future, Tell your kids that and they will start loving school, lol, Jokes aside VR is going to be everywhere by Xmas time, Making all games coming out VR optimized, Amazing, Dirt Rally 2 got VR great, AMS 2 is great as well, ACC is a bit clumpy, And Beam NG is a no hope in VR, Well gutted Beam NG is terrible in VR, I tried but there is so much stress setting up Beam NG in VR it is getting my Anxiety levels high, I can't do Beam NG in VR, And now I can't do Sim racing with the TV screen, At all, lol, So AMS 2 and Dirt Rally 2 at the moment is the only 2 Sims worth playing in VR, I have not tried iRacing see, I am going to get the CarXdrift title next month, But Sim raving in VR have come a long way since 2 years ago when I started Sim racing, That was a PSVR though, Still that was Dirt Rally on the PSVR, Was Ok for half hour, And I payed more for the PSVR than the Quest 2, CONsoles is exactly that a CON, By the time you payed a years subscription for playstation you could of put it towards the cost of a PC and get a much better Sim Racing experience, And PC runs VR amazingly, lol, The link cable is bad ass, With the Elite strap that got a 5000mAh battery, WaveVR, So far it is bad ass, I am getting 8 hours of VR from it, lol, Plenty of VR if you ask me, I will get 6 hours as a stand alone from the strap as well, Oh yeah your video reminded me to set the power to High on the GPU, And reminded me I can improve the VR a bit by way of GPU settings, I didn't know Each game can be individual sorted with it's own GPU settings, So thanks for passing that Knowledge to me, lol, After all knowledge is key....
