This isn't a reality show about Alaska, it's a show about reality in Alaska! It's not a "how to" kind of channel, and might even be more of a "don't do" kind of channel! It's a slice of a different kind of life as we muddle through creating a home in the wilderness I grew up in. With the lingering pandemic and raging drought crisis gripping the west, we made the big decision to leave Oregon and drive our Skoolie to Alaska to begin working on our own cabin on the remote, off-grid land my family owns on a beautiful lake where we lived when I was a kid. Both of us are life-long musicians, not builders, so the learning curve is steep and at times hilarious! Our adventure begins with hitting the long road in our little school bus along with our cat Pooki, and we invite you to join the three of us for the journey and whatever comes next!
