The main problem with homework, in my opinion, is how it is just more work stacked on the work we already have. From the perspective of a student, I feel that shortening summer and/or breaks to get more work in school in, (where kids can get help from teachers) instead of piling hours of work on. And one huge problem is that adults who support homework did not have to experience what today's kids have to do. People do not listen to kid's perspectives on homework and just take their own (much easier) experience with homework as proof that homework is a good thing.

150 students sign up for the same course, then get told to use Moodle. 10 are selected to receive the A grade, the others are told they didn´t follow their instructions properly. The 10 are the VIP´s. This is why people hate homework. The students have figured out by the course´s end that Moodle can´t be used to return papers because it´s for slide uploading and the teacher keeps telling the student ´hey student, you´re not following instructions´. These teachers who force everyone to undergo this homework are stalkers.

You should see Francis Howell. They aren't bad bout getting rid of everything, but i have seen 5 kids go from normal and fine to special education in one year alone. It is frightening.
