Whats ur setup look like i went a couple time but had bad luck when others had good luck
couple different set ups. One is a plug diver with bait two is a back bouncing dropper with a spinning glo, coon shrimp, and the other was a bobber with shrimp

@reelingintheoutdoors1612 my recommendation there is to be trolling in a boat. I’m not sure, but if you do fish that you’d want bobber Fish cause there’s probably not a lot of current or would you be Fishing on the lower side where there’s more current? in that case you could plunk traditionally
@reelingintheoutdoors1612 what I would probably do is go to that fishing pier with a bobber set up for slider adjustable and use a quarter ounce maxi jig, purple pink from yakima bait and tip it with a cure I used to catch steelhead. They’re doing that on the umatilla

I would secure you sinker to your sliding snap swivel with a piece of 12lb mono in case you get it snagged that way you can just break off the sinker rather than have to cut your 50lb main line

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and to honest, it’s pretty damn good. Paid $100 plus $5 for the 1lb propane tank. I used it three times… no complaints yet.

i say as long as you’re happy with what you have harvested and prepare the meat and eat what trout know how to then your doing just fine
