BIRDSONG: Grey-sided Bush-warbler

Grey-sided Bush-warbler (Cettia brunnifrons) calling at Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary in Darjeeling District, North Bengal. Sometimes rains are just perfect for birding. What joy it was to have this otherwise skulking bush-warbler show up just 6 ft from us and sing to it's heart's content, oblivious to our presence. Notice the nasal calls at the end of its song.

very cool presentation!
@@racbaard Thanks 🙏
420 subscribers wonderful talk.
Thanks 🙏
Our family has a 5 acre pond 4 km away from our home in tripura. Every winter some birds come into our pond, stay there and eat fish. We don't allow locals to hunt them. We don't know where exactly they come from but our best guess is they are from Siberia. Nice channel ❤
That's lovely to know 😍
Thanks for such an informative presentation!

Watching this video reminds me of the awe-inspiring time I spent in the Kashmir Great Lakes. The pristine lakes, nestled amidst towering peaks, were like a scene from a dream. I captured countless pictures, each one telling a story of tranquility and natural beauty. Joined Orange Jacket Adventure Team for this trek. Mr Vyashakh, my tour guide made that trip even more enjoyable.
Although I heard about the Orange Jacket team, but not joined any trip till now. On the basis of your personal experience, can you let me know whether I should join them or not?
Heard about Orange Jacket Team from my colleague. He did KGL trip with them last year. Now, Im also planning to join their KGL Group Trip.
Great to hear your experience was good 😊
Love this very much😊
Thank you ❤️

I went with Miles to Trek
@@SamanvithaRao thank u so much, as i am a solo traveller, i don't do vlogs.. But i like to explore places.. Could u provide me any contact number for the trek?
They have a website. Although there are many companies that offer the trek. Guess you can go with any that suits your dates and budget.
So wonderful my homeland

Kashmir great lakes trek
This was amazing! Which trek group did you choose? I also am planning to visit, please if you could guide me on this trek. Thanks.
I went with Miles to Trek. It was organized for just our group of friends. But I am sure any group you choose, it will be a good experience 👍
Mindblowing
Nice video. Thanks for sharing..
BEAUTIFULLY CAPTURED... CAN THIS BE DONE BY BEGINNERS...WHAT IS THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL? PLS GUIDE THANKS
It can be done by beginners with good training. It's not an easy trek.
How do u charge phones on such trek ?
I had taken 2 powerbanks 20,000mah ones.
Excellent!! Love your choice of music tracks! Well captured and well edited!
Thank you so much 😍
Beautiful video. I'm surprised how similar the scenery is to hampta pass trek, without the lakes of course :)
Is it? I haven't done Hampta pass 😊
I was also there with my friends in 2018 without any guide and horse, even though we were without cooking gas and we cook our food on fire wood although this trek sans trees ,we were later appreciated by many trekkers including foreign trekkers,
There are more restrictions now and need permits etc
@@SamanvithaRao I don't know about that there's also another great lakes trek in north kashmir side without any restrictions and I welcome you there
@@mohammadshafi7500 that sounds great 😍 thanks will reach out
@@SamanvithaRao I will surely help you there
song was not needed...
It was just a video I put together for trek mates using songs they suggested 😊
Use by after effects or real please reply
It's a real waterfalls, video shot in slow motion with phone
I have literally lived this video. i wish to go there soon. and your vlog helped me out to get the beauty of the landscape and terrain.
You will have a great time 😊 all the best
Beautiful video Can I please share the details of the trek ?
Thanks 😍 what details do you need?
@@SamanvithaRao - how you got to know about which places to trek ?? Did you travel websites organised ur trip ??
@@Yashasvikiduniya500 this particular trek my friend organized. But you can find treks on Indiahikes and other Trek the Himalayas etc which offer many treks thorough out the year
@@SamanvithaRao - okay thanks
Hi ... Very spectacular.. may I know the trek company??
I went with Miles to Trek
@@SamanvithaRao how was everything with that company?
@@dr.jaganmohanreddy3875 it was customized for our group for our budget. There are a lot of companies that offer the trek at different price points and customized to different levels of facilities. Only the govt has restricted the number of trekkers per day on the trail. So you need to find one that suits you and book ahead of time as this trek fills up fast.
@@SamanvithaRao sure thanks a lot .. for being very informative
How to prepare for this trek on the fitness!
Indiahikes recommendation is as follows: Run at least 5 km in 32 minutes before your trek. Consistency of your workout also matters, so aim to jog 25 km a week or 100 km in a month. It's a minimum mandatory requirement if you wish to trek with us. OR Alternatively, cycle for at least 25 km in 60 minutes. Aim to cycle 125 km a week or 500 km in a month. However, running is better suited for your trek preparation.
If there is any nearby hilly region, brisk walks there will also help. I mostly trained by walking 10kms a few times a week.
Music 🎶🎶 👏🏼

That was fascinating! Not just the Snow Leopard but also so many other birds, animals and landscape that you won't find anywhere else. Did you plan the travel by yourself or did you go with one of those travel organizations?
Thank you! We planned it on our own as this was just after pandemic lockdowns and tourism had not kicked off yet. There were no tourist there. We were blessed that the family put us up and helped us track. Worked out affordable too. I would not expect the same experience now.
wow amazing 👍👍👍 New subscriber
