Anyway, I get your critique on this season and I fully agree, though I must admit I'm a bit lacking concerning your all out adversity against flatulence, but I respect it of course and yes, that scene did not heighten my appreciation of the season either. To me the foremost objection against this season was how little I cared about the characters, it never really drew me in, which the previous seasons, and season 5 wink wink, did and while it's not a requirement for me to appreciate a show/movie, it did keep me from really enjoying it, though it did capture my attention enough that I definitely wanted to see it through, but even there with previous seasons I just couldn't wait for the next episode and really with this one there was not that eager anticipation. I completely forgot the link between the boy being young Mike Milligan, that was truly awesome, man, I miss that character, so well written and performed. Also in this season, apart maybe from the daughter in the family, I missed the good characters to root for, which was always a thing in previous seasons, not that good and evil were not tainted at times, which makes characters of course more interesting, but you always had a few characters you were rooting for an bad characters to get their just comeuppance, which usually sort of happened but never fully, which is fine. Thank you for your reviews, it's been a treat as always, let's continue this with season 5, to many, me included, a return to form of sorts, where indeed each episode will have you fighting the urge to go on and watch the next one. He's sorta the main character of the show for me, present even in absence and thematic relation. The execution is one of the best scenes in Fargo, the psychopath is absolutely unhinged and the snivelling rat is begging. Couldn't have been better. Mike takes the Irish guys name, now that's a show of respect.

IIRC wildfire is an unexpected weapon because it's so unstable, producing & storing is almost as dangerous as being its target. You don't expect your enemy to voluntarily arm themselves with "RNG triggered" grenades. Would make a fun game though.

Hi ba, just wondering If you've caught the trailer for 28 years later, it looks f***ing amazing, like a cross between mad Max and the wicker man, If I'd had to guess at the movies themes will be instead of the 9/11 paranoia of the original. I'm guessing it's the impending climate apocalypse and what our world's going to look like in 30 years, so in a word, bleak 😅 If you ever consider going back to doing movie reactions, I think it would be a prime candidate 😉

BA, just to show you how foggy my memory of this show is or was before I reacted to it with you, I knew from the beginning of this season that Gaetano dies in a crazy way but I couldn't remember exactly how until the moment he started tripping, just like you!! I remember that scene the first time I saw it and I was so brilliantly shocked😮😮❤ I think a lot of people did not appreciate this season because season 3 was so great but I for one enjoyed it!! I think I mentioned this before one of the reasons I enjoyed it was Salvatore Esposito, the actor who played Gaetano, is the main character in the series called "Gamorrah", which I absolutely loved, and I really wish that you would react to!!! It's pretty close to being the modern-day Italian, Naples Italy version of The Sopranos! But with WAY more raw violence!!

Very big Cersei fan here, she's my fave character on television 🤣 I just enjoy her character so much because she is so cruel and hates mostly everyone. I tend to like villains more in shows though overall. I did cry when she died 😅

Season 2 was supposed to end with death of Brutus. Season 3 was supposed to be about Antony and Cleopatra vs Octavian. They found out just before season 2 and rewrote to have season 2 cover both stories. Lucius not necesarily dead, can interpret it either way. Pullo may have just said that to Octavian to protect him and allow Lucius to move away from Rome safely

This movie is god tier filmmaking. A video game brought to life with so many varied creative stunts. Two million dollar budget. Two million. That's less than the catering budget on some movies.

I know this video is old but I think you didn't get the point of Brutus character. He is not a "good" person, he wants to be, but he is a coward. I find him relatable. He is conflicted and doesn't know what to do. When Ceasar wants to send him away is like saying to Brutus that he doesn't trust him anymore. So Brutus goes against him after that. It is such a paranoid thing, not knowing who are your enemies. In some previous episode Servilia says to him: "What do you think your ancestor will do?" and he responds: "He would consider the specific circunstances..." because that is what being a coward is about, rationality, not morals. Even when he thinks he is choosing rationally he chooses wrong, because you can't know the future. When he thinks he chooses honorably, for the Republic, it is just a excuse to save himself. I think he is a tragic character, and the actor did a really good job. And we as the audience despise him for not being better, and he hates himself for that also.

Nadir, the absolute lowest point. While there are great moments in the episode I agree completely to clean and character motivations are very muddled. The better moments of the season are coming but its still a bit of a mess of a season in places. It does show that hipster don & nurse nasty are the most consistently written characters in the season.

All gods from all religions are just different forms of death to the faceless men so rather than separating the two as different he just means she stopped 3 lives being taken by fire so it’s from the red god which is another way to refer to the lord of light, he is talking about Millesendres god but he still means the god of death

I agree, this was a great episode, very dark, but some great writing with some brilliant plot twists. Somehow while watching it and listening to Chris Rock's speech George Carlin came to mind: "Because the owners of this country know the truth. It's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it."
