Did aluminum sulfate fix my pond?
Переглядів 24 години тому
I mention it in the video but I’m sorry for my allergies. I film videos randomly and when I get the chance. I also happen to have allergies a lot but I don’t really notice it until having to hear myself speak. I will try and remember how annoying it is from now on. On a better note, I believe the aluminum sulfate has solved my pains! I don’t know if I’m out of the weeds yet but it’s looking pro...

Sorry if I explain myself well enough in each video. I don’t want to be repetitive and explain time and time to a long time viewer what’s going on and have them get tired of it. If you’d like more info on what has been going on, please jump back a couple videos and catch up if you’d like! But over the course of my pond experience, I’ve been having bad fish kills and slowly trying to work its wa...

    having a pelican case for your bow is def not overkill, your bow deserves a good case that takes care of your bow, your release might actually be the least beginner friendly piece of your kit, for me using a finger release is easier than a thumb release, finger release just forgives your anchor a bit more

      @@interrogator9437 ive used the finger in the early days/ leading up to purchasing this one and I’m set on the thumb. To each their own, but I just like what I have right now. Only thing that I dont like is there’s been times where I accidentally break too fast and have an early release. Just gotta keep practicing I suppose

    Just keep shooting...it's easy to get fustrated. Measure your target and put a piece of tape from top to bottom, straight down the middle. Then do the same with a piece of tape, from left to right. You can even divide the across into thirds, which will create 3 levels. Aim at where the vertical and horizontal tapes cross. Even if you're not hitting dead center, you want to get to where your arrows are hitting in line vertically and horizontally. It's exciting to shoot from long distances, but just work on that from 20 yards for a while. if you can keep your up/down/left/right in line, it'll get easier to hit the center. You'll know because you will start breaking nocks. Ease your way out to 25, 30, 40..etc.....I saw someone mention those rubber pads from Tractor Supply. I will say they do work, get some. The last thing you want is that arrow going through that fence and a person or pet if over there. Or, shoot down into the corner of your property. Keep letting them fly, You were doing pretty good for a fist timer. P.S. When shooting at those tapes if you are consitently hitting to the left and/or right of the vertical tape, or, even low of the horizontal tape, don't immediately adjust your sight. Do everything you possible can to check your grip/form. Have someone record you shooting, and check that first. If the shop set your sight up for 20, then 9 times out of 10, it's you that is off.

    The lift isn't a beginners bow but it'll teach you about all your flaws quick .

    At tractor supply they have some one inch thick rubber horse stall mats that are 4’x8’ that you can screw to your fence and use a as back stop so you don’t have to worry about your arrows going through the fence

    😂got the lift last November during deer season. Not my first bow but the best have shot. A rubber 4 by 6 mat makes good stop for when you pull on a shot comes out hard but good back drop . Dropped mine to 55 so can shoot as may time as like. 20 dollar plus arrows add up when lost because of mistakes

      I was temped. Friend said the same. When I watched his vids on it I actually liked the way the previous version looked with the honeycomb and was just kinda waiting to see how I liked what it had

    • @TheDemoncaller
      @TheDemoncaller Місяць тому

      @@Wi_Yeti_Official the honeycomb one is the outdated version. not sure if you watched the chris bee vid where he shows what changed between versions, but looks to be improved everywhere. definitely helps minimize torqueing the bow. the stock one is too rounded and is easy to torque. factory one does feel nice though, but personally was less consistent with it

    Dang you even got the Mathews stabs and the UV Slider! This is the nicest first bow in history! Good idea starting at 60 and working up. Most guys go straight to 70 to get max speed and end up drawing with bad form across their chest. Edit: You could do a form check video. It would be good for you and a fun easy way to get lots of comments.

      Haha thanks, you know what they say.. buy once, cry once. But I was absolutely so lucky most of it was a gift, otherwise I don’t think I could’ve dropped as much as everything did cost. Also thanks for the ideas.

    Archery is such a fun rabbit hole. Expensive but fun. Do you hunt too?

    • @Wi_Yeti_Official
      @Wi_Yeti_Official 2 місяці тому

      I’ve been loving it. Sucks that everything is so expensive but it’s also “cheap” at the same time compared to other hobbies. I plan to hunt fall turkey, snipe some geese/ ducks, and go for a deer of course. I bought a climber earlier this year and plan to put it to use. What about you?

    I have the same bow case and I enjoy learning about archery because my background is also firearms. I have the LIFT 29.5 Ambush Green will all the bell and whistle. My draw weight is 80lbs with 85% let off. My draw length is 28” and have many dozen of different kind of arrows but best arrow currently is Victory RIP TKO 250 spine with 450 grains. I too, new to archery but love it ever since.

      @Wi_Yeti_Official 10 місяців тому

      Thanks. As for the company, I couldn’t tell you, I’m sorry. I found the guy when I drove down a road on the way to work and saw the work he did on a small pond that looked really good. I pulled over and asked for his number. He came over and gave me a quote and we did the deal on a handshake.

    Not sure if this is out of focus or this video uploaded is poor quality at 240i. Other pts233 images I've seen have been crystal clear. How did it look in real time in the display compared to this video?

      I rendered and uploaded it wrong, the other videos I posted give a better representation of the actual quality.
