Definitely Classic Custom

I prefer the Ride & Hi Hat of the Dark Series. But I don't like the crashes of either series. For Crash Cymbals I prefer the Meinl Extreme Series or Power Crash Series. Or at the very least the HCS Bronze Meinl Crash Cymbals. But the Crash Cymbals of the Dark Series are too trashy & metallic & the Medium Series isn't powerful enough to cut through the mix. I actually like & have the 12" Dark Splash by Meinl & 18" Dark China also by Meinl. So thanks for the review, & for making me considering getting the Hi Hat & Ride of the Dark series as well. Also, loved the outro song. A very well mixed instrumental track with a shining & audible bass is always nice to hear in Metal. Cheers

These, the dual customs and pure alloys actually sound really good when in a mix. Solo you definitely hear the lacking weight and depth that the Byzance have. But for the price, especially used, they really sit in heavy or electronic music really nicely. So much better than other companies budget cymbals ive heard.

Classic customs are bright, custom darks are dark. Not much else to say. Let your ear be your guide. Of course those darks look pretty nice don't they. Good demo bro. Thanks for the post.

i think the darks get a little lost behind distorted guitars and the brilliant ones can still be heard..even though my mind tells me i should go dark for metal,my ears are saying to go brilliant
