G works as a nail artist/technician and she is internationally known in the nail industry. Her artistry and innovations carry over into the quilting world. It all started on a Women’s National Bowling trip. One woman on the road trip was doing quilt blocks by hand. G was so envious that she didn’t have anything to occupy her time on the road, so quilt shopping began and she learned to do it on the trip home. As Marie Osmond’s nail tech, she was doing her nails and was so excited to show her what she had learned. After she finished her nails that night, Marie asked her to follow her home, where she gifted her with her first Janome sewing machine. The sewing journey began then, in July 2011. SHERRI is an Army Veteran and Neonatal ICU nurse. For years, She prepped everything for her patient’s quilts and would make G sew it. G grew tired of this one day and refused to do it. So, her quilting journey began that day! Now, she regularly makes quilts for her patients and for fellow veterans.

I love the quilt colors and the design. I light the quilting you have done so fat
Thanks so much!
That's Beautiful, i like how the Thread color makes the Quilt POP🤩
Thanks so much🩵
Nice! Now try clear vinyl.
We actually did. It did great. We had a bunch of scraps of different vinyls and it did great. I unfortunately am not at the classi creations studio anymore, so I don’t have access to the machine again until December 😢

Great bag ladies love y’all’s nails too. Oooh girl you and that crazy lighter! Could you add a liner to this bag? I noticed you use your HP foot on your Janome for this instead of a walking foot. I just bought a MC 6700p my biggest complaint with this machine is it’s like takin a semi through the McDonald’s drive through😂Not sure if y’all are having the same problem but I make round pincushions and I hate having to constantly pick up my presser foot to get a round the corners. Thanks again ladies.
@@juliecarrolltontx2948 ur funny! 😄 I used the Hp2 foot which is basically a walking foot. And yea, u could absolutely do a liner if u would prefer. This was a demo showing it with fabrics that don’t need to be lined. Great for fast gifts!!
Definitely needs a lining. Off screen person needs to let the demonstrator speak alone. It gets confusing. Great tutorial to the person demonstrating.
@@kathyb.8769 sorry for any confusion. We are twins and so often she knows what I should be saying or what I’m trying to say. She saves me so often and also points out things that need to be emphasized. Sometimes my Covid brain makes me lose my words. So many people say what a great team we are. I guess we just aren’t for everyone! Thanks for the compliment anyway🩵
Adorable
Thanks so much😂
Thank you ladies for a great tutorial. By the way, you compliment each other. ? Is the zipper metal or plastic? I noticed how you stitched across it with no problem. I have the M7 too!
Thanks for the comment. I use nylon teeth zippers. When I purchase zippers, I rarely see metal teeth. I think the zippers really accent the bags nowadays! There are such cool ones out there

Thanks for a great and clear tutorial. Could I ask how much you charge when selling these bags? Also have you thought about adding a lining?
Thanks for the comment. Glad u liked it. As of yet, this particular pouch I have not done with a lining but u could totally line it if desired. As far as selling this size, I haven’t sold any but depending on my cost of fabrics, I would probably do $10-$15. I just make as gifts.
Seamstress is very good. Offscreen person is offensively annoying. Please, just let her do it. Thank you.
