To be fair, One is just bad at drawing body proportions, the faces and the background (only at times). Other than that, the panels with action fight sequences looks really good and the backgrounds with destroyed colateral buildings are eye-catching. I can draw a better face than One but I could NEVER in a million reincarnated lives can draw action fight sequences or backgrounds better than One.

This video was well made. tbf though, I only clicked on it because I thought it was a different manga (Gambare, Douki-chan)... but I also never watch these kinds of videos about loserbait anime/manga because I find the guys talking about it to be fking insufferable and too far gone, but this was refreshing. Personally I really have too much going on in my actual life to give any shits about what people are doing with fiction. Like no matter how extreme some stuff is, as long as it stays purely fictional and isnt targeted to harm real people, I couldnt give less of a fuck tbh. I have no idea how people get time to complain about this shit. But still, I guess I dont know other's life so I wont judge. Amd yeah stuff like this isnt my cup of tea too dont get me wrong. It doesn't mean playing COD makes you a school shooter or something like that, but it CAN desensitize you to real world tragedies. Unfortunately, we live in a fucked up world with millions of issues. Most of these issues are systemic. Stay with me. Japan is extremely conservative. Gay marriage is not legal and their government is still misogynistic. Women get mistreated everyday by peers and by the system they are forced to work under. This manga is one of thousands that reaffirm the outdated belief that women are simply meat to be ogled at. Obviously, it's fine if this kind of media exists, but it's necessary to understand its influence. Another point I'd like to make is that the target audience for these type's of media are people who DO fantasize things like this. You can fantasize being a war hero in COD, you can fantasize being in a middle of a harem, you can fantasize about taking revenge on all your bullies. This is wish fulfillment. The issue I have with this instead of everyone playing COD is that a lot of the people consuming this manga are in close range of actual victims. You would also be worried if an avid fan who plays COD everyday owned several firearms in real life. In the end, it's not just this manga. It's the subtle message behind it and the millions of other media continuing to tell people that it's completely alright to ogle at teenage girls on trains, they actually enjoy it! I think maybe you don't fully understand because you are not on either side of the situation. You sound pretty young, so you don't fit the target audience of early 30s up working class guy, and you aren't a young woman either. Thank you again for the nice reply.

I'm not sure if it compared to manga like One Piece or HxH, at least for the western audience. Its definitely good, but I'm not sure anyone would put it in their top 10 like HxH or One Piece. I don't want to use mid as an insult, but its definitely a mid show/manga. Its good but I felt it was missing something. That being said its just my opinion and plenty of stuff that didn't hit all the notes I want can still be wildly popular.
