The DPF fault is generally a symptom of something else. This something else could be anything from driving too many short journeys and/or too much idling to split boost hose, blocked pipes/nozzles, faulty sensors/wiring, etc. If you reset these faults and the DPF problem returns, look for other fault codes, if any, and physically check hoses, wiring and even your air filter.

Just unplug the green end and hold the pipe upwards poor fuel to the brim then put connector back on, the air bubble returned as you had it laid flat. The pipe your clearing is a return pipe if the bubble is there it is already out of the engine mechanism..

All this cleaning stuff is unnecessary if people would properly understand the DPF system and how it works. The biggest killer of the DPF are cold start, stop/start driving in heavy traffic and short trips. Cold starts are when the most amount of soot is produced in a diesel motor and if you don't drive it long enough to get the engine to optimal operating temperature, the DPF will not burn off that soot and it will become clogged up. Basically, diesel vehicles with DPF systems are not suited to city driving and short commutes. You need to take the vehicle on a long run at least once a week at a sustained speed above 60kmh, preferably on a highway at around 100kmh for 30-60min to allow regeneration to occur. The DPF system was not designed to have chemicals and cleaning agents put through it and can potentially cause irreparable damage to the DPF, resulting in a very expensive replacement cost. Fuel additives supposedly designed to clean DPF systems are even worse. That stuff goes through the entire fuel system, including injectors, which can be damaged and cost a fortune to replace. Just don't do it, simple.

What type of Paint Thinner do you use? There are many different types with different ingredients so I'm worried I might use the wrong type and melt my screen... Some are made for cleaning brushes and some made for glass and metals, what is the exact one you use in this video? May I have a link to the product please?

P242f means your DPF has reached end of life due to ash accumulation. Replace the DPF and reset DPF adaptions to repair correctly
