For nearly 40 years, NAMI North Texas has been a place of hope and support for individuals and families navigating the challenges of mental health conditions. Nestled in the heart of the historic Swiss Avenue District, their office, affectionately known as "the blue house," is more than just a building. It's a place of refuge, acceptance, and understanding for those who have often felt silenced by stigma. We spoke with Carolyn Kedslie, Director of Programs, and Analy Gillum, Youth Programs Coordinator, to learn how NAMI North Texas is empowering North Texans through education, advocacy, and support-all from the welcoming walls of the blue house on Swiss Avenue.
