Btw I really liked the specter gauntlet's design, I didn't think Guerrilla would actually make a usable zenith weapon!

After 15+ hours of fight, thanks to this video, I figured that during last stage, when Ridley is preparing to ram, there is needed to shoot charged plasma beam when its head is high. Thanks to this, I was finally able to beat that bastard. Anyway, I think whole artifact story and Ridley fight would be quite nice as an optional thing, but not main. Or maybe, I wasn't convinced to enjoy Metroid games and metroidvania genre.

hax, I call hax, with that setup, there is no way the scythe has 400+ dmg or 426 to be exact... scythe is upgraded 2 times meaning it does 18 base damage +30 from the 2 evolutions, + 10 from quicksilver curse and +20% scythe of standing curse and + 50% omnipotent scythe, looking at the talons dmg (51) that means you have gotten 11 dmg from the animas curse, totaling at around 117, but yours shows 426?!?!. sooo what, where is the 300+ dmg on the scythe coming from? I am not questioning how dmg is dealt, but the dmg that it shows on the scythe in the menu and why it is so high and how you obtained it, as that is the dmg multiplied afterwards, giving you 1,6k crits

Due to a error in translating, the official scan should talk about his weakness to ice. So using a charged ice shot will stagger him instantly instead of using multiple shots. Saved me minutes when fighting him.

Ugh this fight was not fun at all. Finally beat him, the plasma beam was the trick. Most of the time when he’s dodging, I can keep shooting at his mouth and just walk off to the right. He only got me maybe 4/20 times. Better to not even worry about charging cause the timing windows to hit his face are so short.

Meta-Ridley is not difficult on Hard Mode until he can't fly anymore which happens when has 1/8 health left. That's when you get Screwed...When he drops down to that it will seem like his health increased 10 fold. He barely goes down and has a jump ability that creates strong aftershocks.

Its only Genericly Produced wrong tbh. If this was the Natural Prime Producers they would have What would be Imported DLC: Area Monsters Bosses/ But in the Longest they certinly would have Kept the Fusion suit :(

If anyone wants to know how to get here and get the secret boss here are the requirements: 1 - You have beaten the game once (takes you to the time department after Major Warren &/or C. Imamura. 2 - To get to the Life Dep. you need a gold medallion which is found in 3 pieces. (One piece at the shop for a prismium, another before any Thanager or Sorrow for free, and the last in the break room after a sorrow for 3 golden anima’s). General Tips: If you are struggling with a boss and get to low hp but dont want to do a whole new run just to get back (like for Ms. Life) you can just quit to the main screen and rejoin (you dont have to fully close the game, just press quit) you will respawn at the beginning of the room with your previous stats before doing anything in said room. This is also super useful for practicing bosses and getting used to their attacks. I hope this helps with your runs and clears up any questions you might have! Edit: I would opt for maxing out a blue curse build and then putting the rest of your curses into red or green for more damage. I personally use a blue/red with cloak equipment rather than spells, but whatever floats you boat. Here are my favorite & most op builds: Peroid: Pure Heal +5 HP (BLUE) Retaliate: Gain regen for a short time (BLUE) Cloakswish: After using a cloak attack temporarily gain +10 defense (BLUE) Retaliate: Gain +1 max damage (RED) Terminate: +1 Soulary (BLUE, helps with control room and extra curses from shop) Any other damage bonus from RED and any other bonus healing (extra anima heals, max hp, defense, etc. From BLUE) The way to play this build is get to modern warfare department with [period heal for 5], [+1 max damage when hit], and [short regeneration on hit] as well as some defense bonuses. You might see where this is going, you sit on one of the red bundles of arm/hand things that stick out of the ground and let them hit you. Whenever they do, your regen will heal you, over time it will fall off but with a peroid pure heal of 5 it puts you back to full. Theoretically you could sit there forever, constantly stacking damage but when I pulled it off I got to 450~ damage which was enough to melt just about every boss and 1 hit every enemy. Note: haven’t tested it, but sacrifix might trigger it as well, which means you dont need to get the regen on hit. Pure heal still might be needed tho… idk. Another crazy build is a piercing ray spell build with terminate, regen +50 mana. This melts any enemies within seconds and deals pretty solid damage to bosses as well, pair this with some good single target boss weapons and your set for a stellar run.

I noticed something after the defeat of Catherine Imamura: The wizard called Time appears and summons a nuke.

I just ended up watching this instead of actually beating Life because that boss is such absolute hell to fight. For most of the game, everything gets kinda unbalanced but really fun, but fighting her, with all the gimmicks. Setting you to 1 hp for a bit, stealing animas, deleting your cloak/spells, it just became unbearable, getting to the end with a solid setup with cloak, then just having it removed at the end. It discourages experimentation, because trying to do a spell or cloak build will just get erased then you're stuck with your usually unupgraded scythe either crawling through the fight for an ungodly amount of time, or immediately dying. The worst part is denying cloaks and spells...like, why? I like the scythe and usually upgrade it anyway, but I do enjoy playing the game in more than one specific way. It's an annoyance of a secret boss in an otherwise awesome game. There's nothing worse in a roguelike..hell, in any game, than having your whole setup denied in an instant.

I got this last night on normal on my first try I didn’t expect it to work out so well so I’m not sure if it was made easier?? Two phases only. First ghost phase almost no damage trying to remember the mechanics. Second ghost phase super missiles and a little luck on being in the right place at the right time took him down.
