Thanks for the video. I have a question. Ive seeen other videos in which they talk about a mini roundabout. They all say that when going across a mini roundabout that you have to atempt/show that you drive around it by "slighty" stearing around it. If that makes sence. Could you explain a little more about mini roundabouts please.

Got my drivers license at 15 got into trucks at 18, 54 now about 4,000,000 kms under my belt only one accident i was pulling out of a side st and a car tried to undertake me my 2nd trailer went over the bonnet of his car, cab was already going straight on the road i was turning onto had no chance of seeing him, was probably doing 20km/h when i felt trailer grab him. 24 metres 54 tonne, good times.

Wow, this was almost my route to class 2. I was there for the first time in my life more than half way. totterhoe, kesnworth, wipsnade zoo never been here. I hooked the 16:10 curb in the video. my road changed from 37:45 turn right. I continued straight through the center of Dunstable. It's a pity, but I lacked experience, 3 days of driving Hgv maximum of 10 hours on road experience. It's a pity that I missed this video before the exam, greetings to instructor John;) the route is really picturesque, but difficult. You are great Patryk, greetings ;)

Hi Patrick. First of all, thank you very much for your work and your videos are great and very helpful. I followed many test routes, unfortunately today I failed the exam on a route unknown to me. I slightly hit the curb at the mini roundabout in the village of TOTTERNHOE, then the route ran towards Wipsnade Zoo and finally I found myself just before Dunstable where I drove through the entire city center. what do you think about this route combination? On my test I failed for straddling lanes on roundabout said there was no need too. This guy is doing it on every single roundabout

Would splitting and blocking lanes at the roundabouts when the lane you need is a suitable size for an HGV not be classed as blocking in general and be a fail?

I’m in the middle of training my c+e and the roundabouts are so busy there never seems a good time to pull out seems like every car has to slow down on the roundabout as there’s not enough time for me to get out of the way how do I get out and not fail my test if it seems impossible to pull out 🤷🏼‍♂️

Is it best to straddle 2 lines on most roundabouts to make space, unless it's a big roundabout and easy to go around it without having to use much space

How much do you charge for a 15 hour retest? I’ve passed but got no confidence

In the section where the cars moved on to the pavement to give you space, even though there was enough room, would the examiner fail for that or let it go, because you didn't actually physically cause them to move?

The key is to control your nerves and have some confidence my class 1 test was the only test I did this in and I got 0 minors, in my car test I got 6 minors I was nervous, in my Bus test I was really nervous and got 9 and was shocked I even passed. Nerves will cause you to behave irrational try not to be nervous. Done 3 test + 1 resit for my car license. Control those nerves people you can do it just don't let nerves hamper your efforts.

not very correct, you didn't explain check mirrors brake position on round about you didn't explain check mirrors when passed pedestrian to make sure he's not under trailer you don't explain check your right mirror when passing vehicle larger then a small van, you didn't mention reduce speed to speed limit when passing change of speed on sign, I'm not sure you are a instructor as you failed to do the obvious

I t is probably the camera - the approach speed to the roundabouts looks a bit too fast - I suggest today, the specialist subject of safely loading your hgv and hgv maintenance- for a change Ps l don't think you have to ask for followers:-)
