I agree that Charlie Mia was trying to change him into the version she wanted him to be rather than accept him for who he was. That never works and it will always cause feelings of resentment.

Alot of different issues with this story arc: 1) Mia has standards and she knows what she wants, i think she was trying to make Charlie a better person but that was ill advised. So many times through the Mia arc he fucked up, which means he was going to get sick of her....just a matter of time. 2) Charlie is right in his restaurant speach....."not a work in progress"....granted he is a booze drinking, hooker wrangling lothario....plenty of them in the world....i really wonder if he thought he could change. 3) Alan being a freeloader should have tried to do way more to "help" Charlie, he lives rent free with his kid in a great house.

How come people reach all kinds of conclusion except the most important one. i.e. marriage is a destructive concept and any reasonable person should openly reject and mock the idea of getting married. That way it doesn't matter that you are with the wrong person. You just realise you are, and call it quits. You leave and tell the other person to get lost.

Hey Charlie wasn't wrong on Mia about changing him and not love him for who we was many man are treated down shame on them.

I don't get the "Eating right" part. Its a Scientific fact. That a diet with meat in it "especially lean meats - fish, chicken" is the healthier lifestyle. Makes sense, coz, *HUMANS ARE OMNIVORES!* 🙄

That s the mindset of women today. They want them to accept them for who they are but they want you to change to become what they want you to be. So we have to accept them just the way they are but they don t want to do the same for us.

I just hate Mia here. She devalues Charlie's profession as a jingle composer even though he's so successful at it that he can buy a beach house in Malibu which is more than can be said for her. Besides, she's an artist herself, she's a dancer, how is her job any different? And the fact that she's trying to change his whole personality shows that she doesn't respect him. The two of them don't fit together at all.
