My goal is to show you that you can indeed make extra cash with nothing but a weedeater/string trimmer. A push mower. And a blower. I’m a high school student who mows yards after school multiple times a month. If I can do it! You can too!

no needle carb adjustment wont fully idle up brand new from the box...no choice but to return it sadly.
$279 @ Home Depot today. Still a deal compared to the other gas-powered backpack models. Seriously blows - in a good way. Ear protection is a must, because this beast is loud.
This blower 5 years ago when I was 10 inspired me to get the br 200 which was my first backpack blower. I now have the 600
Part
Nice setup What type of MPG you get on that Ford Ranger when towing?
How much gas does it fill up with
Brother you are great compare to others demonstrating how the echo work you did a excellent job
I just went to trial one, it had 0 power, bogged down every time i tried to blow. Guy said it has to warm up. After 2 minutes maybe had a little more power but very underwhelming🤷♂️
Excellent review/video. Price is up to $279 these days. Man is that thing noisy.
Wear headset ear muffs. They're necessary for Chain saw & backpack blower use.
Sup with the wet leaves vid. But other than that. Great vid bro hopefully they got one in store tomorrow. Need one asap lol
I plan on getting this trimmer, but the one with the pro series attachments. I'm replacing my Hyper Tough trimmer that fell off of the wall. I got that thing on sale for 60 bucks a couple years ago and it was a great trimmer. The only thing wrong with it was that it fell off of the wall. It was no fault of the trimmer, only the dumb owner. 🥴😑
Great review!
Basically made for comfort only. Not good for heavey yard cleanup.
I just bought one the other day, the line that comes with it is the Echo string Cross Fire 0.95. I recently bought the Black Diamond 0.95. It does give a better cut, the PAS-225 is a great weed eater so far in my opinion. I know a lot of people say Stihl is the best, but this does give those weed eaters a run for it's money. For it to be a 21.2CC engine. it does a great job.
My dad has that Ryobi leaf blower 0:32
Amazing machine. Lightweight, comfortable, quality. Surprisingly powerful too
5 years later same blower here in AZ $369.99
Great job of explaining the basics operations of the PAS-235SB.
I found a 2001 with only 75,000 mi in Dallas Texas
Thanks For That Review Just Bought Pas-225 Today with Edger & Hedge Trimmer Attachment 👍👍
Where can i buy the BR200 UNASSEMBLED in it's original packaging box?
Keep your day job. Poor review. SMH
I appreciate all the info in video. Since video was made how has trimmer held up?
I just brought one
On my second one after the muffler came apart internally and they warranted a new machine? The replacement is making the same buzzing like the first one at idle just like yours, I wonder if this one will fail soon? Next one will be an Echo 😅. I know the power is there for less money but if it only last 2 years whats the sense. Also found that the original one was melting the blower impeller so it’s just cheap garbage. No more Ryobi for me!
Update on this gas blower?thinking on picking one up but it has mix reviews
Nice, thanks! 👍
Mine dies after a it warms up.not sure why
Might need the mixture or High speed or Idle screw adjusted. Sometimes there's no screw or it has anti tamper plugs / caps but remove them then screw can be adjusted to run perfectly. I have an 8 year old earlier Ryobi BP42 blower that I replaced the carb on - $20 on Amazon. It had manual easy adjust screws - really this is necessary to "tune" engine performance. All quality chainsaws & blowers like Stihl, Husqvarna & Echo have them that's how the Saw Dealer keeps them in tune. If the budget brand saw or blower doesn't just upgrade carb to an adjustable one - all the Amazon China ones are adjustable. Lots of "how to tune my saw / blower" carb videos on UA-cam lol. Good luck 🤞 Just FYI
All I can say, is……. I was the 591 person who like this video
My wire went back into how do I get it back out
Please use eye protection. Especially in closed spaces like that where things can bounce and ricochet. Great video! Stay safe!
This was an awesome tutorial. Thank you!
Do you know what the sb stands for?
has anyone used it in the winter to clear snow from there driveway?
Thanks
I prefer these Rangers over the new ones nowadays. It's ashame Ford stopped making these kinds after 2011,miss these older Rangers.
I got suckered by the advertised high cfm, but in actual use, it felt significantly weaker than the mid level Husqvarna I've been borrowing. I should have been clued in by the low cc rating. I hate returning anything . . . but this simply was not powerful enough to move the volume I need, so. I bit my lip, and returned it. I loved the price, but I'll have to shell out more $$$ and go with a much more powerful competitor. (As a note, the very large nozzle allows for reasonably high CFM but at a lower speed. Manufacturers are starting to go to NM, a measure of force, as the unit of measurement, to avoid this kind of confusion) That said . . . there were also some positives beyond the price. I did like the build quality, it ran smoothly, and it was reasonably quiet. For my use, I needed it to move a mountain of heavy leaves, but, If I were just using it to blow grass clipping from the sidewalk and driveway, I probably would have kept it.
Thank you!
Great video- any suggestions for a harness? Thanks!
Will it fit on a baby?
Can you remove the guard?
To dam loud 🤣
Nice review I sure hope you don’t have reaction to the poison ivy you ran your hand through and blasted apart on fence young man wear some safety glasses but good job
Learn how to use a leaf blower before doing a review.
Very nice review
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing 👍🏾
Actually that's not quite true that every echo product comes with the same extras. When you buy any echo powerhead especially PAS systems that are sold without attachments you don't get any 2 cycle mix and just paperwork only. The current PAS in 2022 is the 2620 PAS which does not come with any attachments or is introduced in a combo package like the 225 which I believe at the time it was 225vp, 225b, 225sb and 225 SRM. The next upgrade PAS was the 266 that also came in the SRM which I have, my 225vp got a cracked head on the motor and is now just back up parts for both my 266 and 2620. Then there was the 280 PAS which couldn't run the curved shaft and a few other power attachments, I believe there was a 280 SRM. Currently both 266 and 280 have been discontinued by echo and replaced with the Xseries 2620t and 2620 PAS. There are no other PAS after that. They only other Xseries trimmers they have that run over 30CC engines are the 3020U and the 3020 which echo will likely not make a PAS from that engine model because it's to powerful for the older and current attachments which I believe there are 16 attachments. The gearboxes on these attachments are torqued for the 25.4 CC 2620 PAS and under. If they would decide to make a PAS out of the 3020 they'd likely have to make a whole new line of attachments that can handle the power and torque of that powerhead. I don't think echo in this current market will invest into doing this especially with governments trying to push this stupid green deal and most small engine companies are trying to over expensive and dangerous battery operated junk. I'll keep using gas equipment until I can no longer and then I'll likely buy a herd of goats to mow my yard.
I just found a 04 ranger with a 3.0 engine with 80k miles for $4,000 dollars. Is that a good price?
Bro that’s a steal if it all works , get it! I got 2006 with 215k miles on in still runs good , parts are cheap and easy to find 👍
Did he say 2,600 dollars and change???
Sweet “Hood wing” bro
Damn... he said those leaves were gonna be blown back where they came from...thought the 200 was strong enough to put those Leaves back on the tree 😥
