Thanks for the heads up on Hyrule Warriors. I see Age of Calamity all the time, but don't see the Definitive Edition out in the wild anymore, even at some of my favorite used game stores. Went ahead and ordered a copy off Walmart and just hoping this is the ESRB version as listed in the description (which aren't always accurate). Only a $10 savings, but it is what it is, and some games you just have to pay more than you might want.

i'm not big on this years deal but i will pick up something that i might want maybe like 5 games and more switch controllers

I saw a bunch of copies of Super Mario RPG at Walmart for $30.00.... I wouldn't normally be tempted but that is a good price. Picked up Burnout Paradise for $10 the other day, I do remember having a good time with it back on the PSP.

I imported all of these, except the Shindou Edition for Super Mario 64, only have the original Japanese version.

i've played a 3ds for years. Splinter cell 3d is easily the best game i've ever played on the system. Except maybe ocarina.

Man, I feel your pain on buying consoles in unknown condition. I buy a ton of consoles from Goodwill and some work, while others don't. I've fixed many of them up, but some I just have to cut my losses and sell cheaply to recoup some of the money. The parental locks on Xbox 360s are still possible to bypass if you have a Microsoft account. I'm not sure about Xbox One and newer though.

Do the entire world a favor, just throw out all the sports games and all the Just Dance games.

Why not carry a testing kit with you when you go. Binder w/ disc sleeves of known working cheap sports games, 1 for each platform. A small display that can take composite signal via a cheap retrotink. An inverter or battery pack. Some spare cables etc.

Semi successful eBay reseller here, it can be hard but you should've been done your homework on everything pictured here, I mean extensive stats and sales research using their Product Research tool if you don't wanna do it manually. Yes local logistics are somewhat helpful but it's not the make or break like the internet marketplace is. I wouldn't count on repairs to turn a profit unless it's a Sega Saturn or something rarer.

All shops around me sell complete working ps1, ps2, xbox, nes, snes for $90 and under. Disc replay, and game world are my favorite.

My worst ripoff was actually from a store. I got a copy of Chrono Trigger that did not work, and they claimed that since I got it with credit, that they only do swaps for the same game. They claim that they haven't gotten a copy in since that time... That was 2015.

AH, the rare Gears of War 3 PS2. That is a hard one to find.
