Coming back to the same situation in October 2024 😂
What a joke. The man is as corrupt as they come. He is special all right. Check the current poles. Only second to Trudeau in terms of his lies and corruption.
They are actually making a skytrain from surrey to langley now and its gonna cost 4.01 Billion dollars!
Oh thank you for making this video you've proved me more than ever that bmdc is done finished never to be seen again thank you I'm so glad that a young man such as yourself you'll never have to worry about children and I'm so glad you won't be having any that's why you were all so hard after mine don't worry you got them
I think your eyebrow fell off
Oh my God you are a pedophile supporter I talked to his secretary all the time and Burnaby I'm going to tell her that they have a fine pedophile supporting them and that's you just saying
You rock
Keep up the good work🎉
I personally live near Lonsdale Quay, and i want an underground skytrain in that area. I know it's gonna ruin the area and be expensive, and the r2 can cover it and all that but still. The route would be Lonsdale Quay does via Capilano mall and park royal and goes on to west vancouver. Maybe it can go the other direction and goes to pibbs exchange then, uh idk
came for a look, stayed for the commentary - truly entertaining, thank-you
Charlie’s Tree will never fall. I , a trucker, and many others , often stop by and pick up wind blown litter, bring water during the hot summers, replace our Canadian flag if need be. Charlie’s Tree may have fell a few years ago , but a new tree grows on the old trees remnants Thank You for your service Charlie. You will NEVER be forgotten 🫡
mfw Pacific Ave. becomes Vancouver’s champs-élysées
Jagmeet singh you are a lier you joined with Trudeau and now everything is bad in Canada because of you Trudeau is useing you for his advantage ok he will no longer need you when he had everything in place you will not win the election you and Trudeau I will make sure you will not win jagmeet Singh and Trudeau you will not win the election
This video is a 5 years old, and they still haven't moved on the project. The fact that it's taken so long to get these projects off the ground is why we have a housing crisis in town.
Really well made video - hope you make some for the next one
2027 is the earliest they could be torn down at this point 😬
Rapidbus happened
I'm 50..amd grew up in a generation where first nations were belittled and looked down upon.. And sadly there are still hainous comments online exhibiting continued racism... I think our next flag should be of first nations design... That's my 2 cents..
Great video. Cheers 🍻
yeah okay... just build a skytrain. Much better service and you're less likely to fall into some of the common LRT pitfalls. And BRT sucks for high capacity. Edit: Keep the skytrain in the sky and don't put it in a tunnel. That way it stays cheap.
That was a really great video. Thanks for making it!
And 5 years later none of these seems are going to be actually completed or even started any time soon…
When McCallum become mayor in Surrey, the LRT got cancelled in favour of an Expo extension to Langley. This switch was a big delay / cost increase, but is finishing in the 2020s
can u like show a script and some websites i have disagree with what your saying
A lot of the big stuff here changed when McCallum become mayor of Surrey in 2018 election, if that's what you mean. This video is all from the 2040 plan. The 2050 plan is better.
@@joshmessmerthisherevancouv2996 o ok thanks
So much has changed in the 5 years since this video. Surry LRT is dead, Skytrain to Surry is being pushed through along with a Skytrain to UBC, a Gondola to SFU has been approved, and there's a 10-year plan to build 170km of BRT and Rapid-Bus. Not to mention that we now have a 30 year plan to build out our rapid transit system to 400km.
Im a student in Waterloo and EVERYDAY I WISH WE HAD SKYTRAIN. The lrt is a blessing no hate but its not reliable, frequent and fast. It HAS to slow down to jogging pace for almost the entire route.
I Am A Instructor In WU-YI Taekwondo its on kingsway.
Shut Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@nowhere somewhere What's your problem? lol
DMP is truly insane. Just do mixed single vote and you can have 1/3 top-up and 2/3 ridings
Actually, the Langley extension is just another part of the expo line
Yeah. This video was made before the 2018 Local Elections. Surrey's new mayor pushed for changes from the 104th+KingGeorge LRT to a Fraser Hwy expo extension (mostly agreeing with the critiques made in this vid). The newest plans have that extension fully-funded to Langley, and many, many more planned connections.
@@joshmessmerthisherevancouv2996 Are you still making videos at all?
Hard to find the time. I'd like do 1) a series delving into all the future zoning/infrastructure changes we might see. "Vancouver in 2050" or something. 2) A detailed series on BC's history. More narrative than Kumtuks. 3) A series on indigenous languages. I'd especially like to do "Ecolinguist" style mutual intellegibility test/games with the Salish languages. But that'd all take years, and I don't have the time right now.
Just a liberal asshole.
“ nice view of BC Place”. Yeah right. No more light show that you can see from Science World. But hey, if you squint you can see the clouds surrounding Mt Seymour and Grouse. Postcard view gone so that Vancouver can get a Macau casino. Oh joy.
...
When you discus the entertainment district, please delve into the loss of the “view corridor” from the south side of Science World looking over to the light show at BC Place. This is Vancouver’s iconic postcard photo spot and we are planning on blocking it with high rises to the waters edge. Our Eiffel tower will be no more. Thank you.
R1 is the 96
Frazer extension to Langley to replace 503
THE RAPIDBUSES!!!!!!!!!
Stevenson? I went There!
Wha- the Rapidbuses!
I would prefer Skytrain
I will be voting for Pierre for Prime Minister
thank god surrey light rail is cancled skytrain is way faster and better in many ways way to much light rail in Canada people just want it because they think it looks cool not good for long distance travel thats why we are getting more skytrain

The problem with Singh is that he believes in minority rights than the rights of the majority. He's playing the race card and hoping no one will notice.
You seem to be the one obsessed with race. Singh hardly talks about it.
@@joshmessmerthisherevancouv2996 so when Singh talks about all his life he had to deal with racism what was he talking about.
Skunk bag Jagmeed
After 4 years .. what's the update for 2022 ?
Just to mention I was in Istanbul and man I was amazed by the tran system they have over there . Cheap and very reliable ..
You can never have enough unreliable public transit in Vancouver!
The more you have the less unreliable it is.
This guy is gonna ruin Canada. Don't vote for him. We'll all be bankrupt.
13:52 B-Line 3 (R3 RapidBus) actually ended going all along Lougheed
I hope more people, especially the young people vote NDP, they're the only ones backing up the people, the whole point of having a Gvt is to have someone protecting and fighting for your rights and life against corporations. It seems we've forgotten this.
Man were u wrong about the lightrail ik it has been 3 years bus the expo line will be on the ground so its still driverless
No vote. Too much fashion
