A clip of Brad Renfro in Confessions of an American Girl RIP Brad
Shouldn't have snubbed him at the Oscars. That was low.
He looked older than 16
It was the beard
Cringe how people for speaking for someone rhey they don't know
He fought almost all his life against his addictions, it wasn't his fault... Poor Brad. I wish he could have a chance to see what the future would be like without needing those fuckin drugs. 💔❤ I'll always love him.
junkies always sound so confident about change..and then they relapse and betray you. never trust them
I hear the talk. Long time ago. We all go through. Some make it, some do not. That's just life.. and death. Good journey in your attempt to figure it out.
R.I.P. Brad Renfro (1982-2008)
This Movie is Literally The Masterpiece of Hollywood... I watched this Movie on Dec 4 2023 and This Movie is Literally a Thrilled Time travel Experience. Acting, Script, Emotions and then James Bond was in his Prime (Bro got Blue Eyes) Its a shame That Hollywood Become Much worse and Didnt make Masterpieces like 12 Monkeys or The jacket
So handsome
"Apt Pupil" was complete garbage.
He looked about 30.
15 years later his death still hurts my soul . I miss you Brad and I wish you were still with us little buddy .
Still miss him and always be missed!
😢💔
So he was only 16 here??
I read somewhere that someone in Hollywood like a producer aka child predator tried taking him to bed at one of the Hollywood parties he didn't go for it.
Singer?
This has more than likely already been said, but the poor guy didn’t even make it to 36! In fact, just viewing a few of his interviews on UA-cam, he actually discussed having used drugs when he was younger (and that he came from an environment of addiction etc) and this was during the press junket for his breakout role in The Client which, even then, would’ve only made him about 12 roughly. “STUPID” is how I think he referred to drugs. Much like Edward Furlong, his total lack of media savviness made him all the more refreshing versus the overly rehearsed and contrived tripe you’d normally get both back then and even now.
he would've played a fantastic springsteen..anybody else see and hear it¿?

very sad, he needed a Mom...to young and then... died at 25 RIP sweet boy.
YOU are someone's child. Someone's crush. Someone's grandchild. Someone's friend. Some future someone's mother or father. Maybe even someone's hero. Don't touch drugs. Please.
Great acting, and casting in this, I haven't seen the film though. :(
Someone posted the full film on yt, i think it's called Confessions of an American Girl
MK Ultra. He was appeasing his handlers. He was given what to say.
You know... You know... You know... You know... You know... You know...
36 the tragic thing is he’d only live till 25 one of my favourite actors
can't believe he was 15 in apt pupil...he looked 17/18 to me
He was 14 when it was filmed.
as he got into his 20s he looked like a young Marlon Brando! its too bad, drugs suck, he obviously experienced trauma in his life for him to turn to drugs
Sad thing is when he mention 36 years..and thats the age he was when he died 😔r.i.p
He didn't live to be 36, he died at 25
Im pretty sure he was only 25 when he died. Not 36…
This interview is has such a different feel from his interviews when he was just starting. Before he would never say what people expected and he was genuine and it just made you fall in love with him because he was real. After his arrest that seemed to change to me, like he felt he had to put on a persona to be who people wanted him to be. It breaks my heart because it’s like he put a wall up to hide the hurt so the world wouldn’t see it and then it at him up on the inside. He was an amazing person and will always be missed.
How does he have a strong southern accent in an interview on UA-cam from 1994?
That was his real accent.
He trained to lose his accent for the movies. He had a friend who taught him, he said that.
The interview hits harder seeing how optimistic and wanting to do better Brad genuinely sounded and now knowing that he didn't even make it to 30
I know him by Apt Pupil. So sad for his accident.
RIP and long live Brad Renfro (July 25, 1982 - January 15, 2008), aged 25 You will always be remembered as a legend.
May he rest in Peace. May he rise in Glory
I miss this actor. Seen a few of his movies in the last few days. He is a talented actor, way more talented than many. I wish he's still around today. RIP Brad.
I miss him so much . Brad was such a talented actor .
He lied to himself!
That's what addiction makes to people. He needed more compassion rather than criticism. He had a hardship childhood, his only lucky chances were his grandmother and his enormous talent and charms, that's how he made a career since he was a child.
Whenever you see a friend or relative that looks away every time they discuss their mental state, intervene.
Love his movies.... Brad deserved better he was so great <3 :( he lives on forever
Bryan Singer is a monster. Hollywood did Renfro so wrong.
He didn't learn anything. Sad.
His mother gave him heroin when he was 12 years old and even taught him how to use it and after that he started to be sexually abused in Hollywood that made him more addictive
What happened to his Southern drawl?,I know he was from Tennessee, do people normally lose it? As Brad got older it went away
I know. It’s a pity. That drawl is 🔥
Wise beyond his years. RIP brad
I know addicts. Words mean ZERO! Zilch. Zero. Not saying to not stop supporting, but they become experts in lying. Lie Lie Lie Lie lies. If they are articulate as well it only makes everything Worse. It all comes down to tve individual. Does he or her want to do the work. Words and speaking means nothing at all. You can beat it, you gotta do it alone in the end. A liquer store or a dealer is always available. I know after 24 years of personal bullshit. It all comes down to me. Nothing is better than being sobor if you want it. If you don’t really want it then you will continue..a year or 50 years. Some are not made for sobor living.
Forever young.
Young and naive, Heroin is one Hella of a drug, 😥 his addiction one the battle. Rest easy Young man
Fascinated by this guy.
Happy Birthday Boy!! I Love You!! 💗
Guy needed to settle down mentally, but how to do that when there is nothing or nobody to lean on in the outside world? This boy had no ground. He was old inside beyond his years. He was handsome and talented but couldn't find what he really needed. RIP beautiful.
Such a talented actor
Such a great actor
Sad. He had a very hard family background, a lot of pain inside. He was a great actor.
Tragic soul lost too soon
