Pomelos are easily found in Florida during citrus season. But! A Thai pomelo and an American pomelo are not quite the same. A Thai mannow, that looks like a lime and frequently called a lemon in Thailand, definitely has a different flavor than an American Key Lime, even though it’s in the same family.

Rambutan is not pronounced "ram-byou-tahn" but "rum-boo-tann" as it is named in Indonesian/Malay (it literally means "hairy"!)

You peel the rambutan by twisting it a little. That way you get a clean half of the shell off.
