Make Better Food at Home (Instead of Eating Out)
So you don't recommend the electric pressure cooker
No explanation on how much pressure or how you got the lid on quickly or back off? What was the water for ? Cooling? Why?
My pressure cooker doesn't have low or high pressure gauge. It adjusts based on how high or low the flame is. To remove the lid quickly you run your pressure cooker under pipe water until the valve drops-which takes a couple seconds for my pot. Once it drops it can be opened at once as there is no pressure. The water cools the the pressure cooker rapidly.
If your pressure cooker has a low/hi pressure gauge, test a batch with the low pressure first. And see how they turn out.
Best video I have seen. You Awesome. I Will try it.😊
This would work good in donair.
Recipe please
Love this recipe. Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Hi Sam, thanks for the vid. Did my first batch today with your help. Video very succinct, love it
Really proud of you . Professionalism is on point . 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
You didn't mention the milk and the butter in the list of ingredients. How much milk, how much butter?
None!! That's why you didn't hear me mention it. Actually if you go back and watch you'll hear when I said not to use milk and butter, and I also explained why it doesn't make for good Johnny cakes
I tried this yesterday and it turned out great. Thanks
Wonderful! I'm glad you got through
I use all my pumpkin leaves to make callaloo yu my.
Cheap for who? 15 to 20 $ is not cheap in north america
All y’all 😂
But we need the fiber!
Definitely leave the skin on when you're making it! :)
Thank you ! I'm going to try these tomorrow. Just subbed to your channel looking forward to more tips.💜💙
wow! what encouraging words! thanks you! I will post more. :D
Delicious
The freeze frame for the short looks crazy!
Just what I was looking for, stovetop, no rue, not tons of milk, no baking. Dinner ready quickly on a tired busy night. Ty!
Finally! Thank you.
Was like your friend, but for the first time in my life they were great, thanks to your simple yet helpful tips❤
That's exactly it!
Instant sub!
this woman cut a fried leg in half, lol....
Lol did you watch the video to understand why I did that? It is to show that the leg bone is cooked
@@SamsFoodChronicles No, I didn't. After the cut I got distracted, lol... Thank you for clarifying.
No prob!
Thank you so much!
I can always feeeel the passion that drips from you when you cook... you cook and listening to you walk through with us your inspiration and process...I am in AWE!
Haha yea I can be a firecracker
Nice video, Chef Sam
Thanks!! Trying something different. Giving y'all a little more behind the scenes documentary style content
I don't know how you did it but I could smell that lovely dish. I can't wait to do this with my lamb steak
Make it tomorrow! It's so good
comment!
hey comment guys
That is a nice tip to push in the middle
I would almost consider it mandatory lol
I’m so late, but I’m making jerk chicken and some callaloo rn (your recipe!) and if you’re going to use soy sauce you should use dark soy sauce. It’ll add a lot of color, good umami flavor, and you don’t have to use as much so it won’t overpower the other ingredients.
Ahh that's a good point. Will try it. Thanks!
lets go !
Just sub
How long for deep-fried fish please 🙏🏼 thanks
Hi I don't recommend fish in the pressure cooker. It's too soft. Best to fry in an open pot or pan
Thank yoouuu❤
Hey!!! Of course
Johnny cakes and stewed chicken with carrots and peppers is in my top 5 fav comfort foods.
I love it with salt fish cord with steam cabbage
Herring is great too
Where is the recipe? How much of each ingredient do I use?
Hey thanks for reminding me. Let me update the description with the recipe. Also here chefsamanthageorge.com/best-homemade-black-bean-burger-recipe/
These look GOOD!!! Definitely trying this recipe. I just made a batch of black bean sweet potato patties and learned a lot of what I need to do differently. But... your patties make mine look like peasant patties. Good work!!
Tell me if that is indeed the best burger ever
Very nice
Which one? Or all of them 😆😂
Making them this morning thxs
Let me know how it tastes!!
how long did you boil the ackee for before draining?
Appx 15 mins. It's depends on how soft the raw Acker is. Once it's fork tender it's ready 🤓
Your still my fav!!! Thanks for this!!!
Spotted you in Mega yesterday so i was reminded to comment. Most successful I have ever been following recipes. Bravo
Oh wonderful!! Wow what a feat! So neat. If you're Instagram you can share this. Show off your dumplings please. 😆
How much butter?
ZERO!!!! No butter allowed in delicious Johnny cakes
You should change ur thumbnail for this vid... make it obvious what the vid is about. You shoul have way more views. It's a great video!!
That's a very interesting comment and feedback. What do you think I could add or change to make it more obvious
Food hot. Presenter hotter 😅
Love this

The color and texture of your chicken looks better than most.
Magic of pressure cooker
@@SamsFoodChronicles That's what I use too, it does a great job of cooking the chicken without destroying the flavor in the coating.
I have tried this before in my Ninja. However, I didn’t use enough oil. Second time lucky following your instructions.
Which ninja do you have?
