sorry but I have a question, the 550 xp of the stone troll when I kill him, are they divided among all the heroes, does only the one who kills him get them or do all the heroes get 550? Thank you.
Appreciate all the helpful videos. My game is on its way and I’m so excited! Ty for all the hard work
These are very useful. Please keep making them
I really like the random background the characters get from the dice rolling, telling names, colourful miniatures and a bit of fantasy 😊
Is Vampiric Touch LvL 1 spell new ? I do not have a corresponding card for this in the base game.
thanks so much.
Are you keeping up the original version of this video? I know some things have changed but the previous video I feel was much slower and clearer with more detailed explanations than this one. I appreciate you producing new videos though.
Well done, loving the game! Thank you.
So, in the room shown in the video, there are five coffins and a dead adventurer. So the heroes could search those six places, plus the entire room? Or is it only one or the other?
You can them all, including the room. But there are always risks involved, especially when searching coffins so there is a push you luck element here 😏
@@leagueofdungeoneers2523 Sounds great! Thanks for making such a great game. I appreciate all your hard work.
Did i see on the campaign some preset characters to use? I didn't see these anywhere. Did these get made? Thanks.
Whats the difference between 14:35 'searching the entire room' and 15:14 'searching the entire room' is this just repeated instructions? I found that the only confusing part of this video, the rest is crystal clear and very helpful- thank you so much!
Umm...maybe I failed while editing 😅
Silly question about Perfect Hearing... The book mentions that you get one extra activation token in the bag, but does not mention that it has to be used by the character that has the Perfect Hearing talent. So, if I have an elf with Perfect Hearing, but want to have a human/dwarf/halfling/duckfolk/half ogre hero use the extra activation, can I?
It is not an extra activation per se. It's an an extra token, increasing the chance of a hero token being pulled from the bag. Each hero still only gets one activation per turn, meaning that the last hero token drawn is just discarded.
Thank you Michael for creating these videos, they really help
You mentioned that you can spread the lockpick action across 2 turns, but that is not mentioned anywhere in the rules. Can we get this added to the FAQ/Errata document?
Very nice an logical Michael.
Thank you for this. I plan to start soon with character creation, so this comes handy. I'm having a bit of trouble to understand alchemy (and alchemist). Would be awesome to get a detailed tutorial of that, if possible. Take care!
I'll make a video on Alchemy too :)
Crikey, “do random quests to start”?! Ended up facing a minataur! Luckily my wizard pulled a max spell out his bag with the extra d6 to boot! 19 pints of damage, but that was after it cut my warrior in 2 almost 😂 Great game though. Really enjoying it so far
Thank you Michael. taking time to do this for everyone is epic and we can't thank you enough. will be there to support future products it's a win win.
thank you!
Thanks hope to set up and play soon. Tutorials will be a big help!
Does opening a chest not increase the threat level by 1 also like opening a door?
Yes, it does. Forgot to mention that.
Great video, it sounds like you also brought a cold or Covid back from Essen, hope you feel better soon
Great video, going to start my first playthroigh soon and this will help. I've been watching the channel Fully painted miniatures who just started playing and even though he's on a third party, the sessions a great fun to watch. 🍻🎲💙🍺
Looking foward to watching your videos :)
thanks for tuto :)
Thanks for this one! On quest 5 of the Dead Rising campaign, and wanted to try some random quests after that! Absolutely loving this game! Thanks for all your efforts and hard work!
I'm enjoying this tutorial. However, I world never put my coffee cup so close to my game. I'm too likely to wind up with a coffee-stained rulebook if I did. -Toby
I like living on the edge ;)
Thank You 👍
thanks for the video! looking forward to the acrylic standees!! It would be cool to see a crossover with you and Rodger for just the 12 Heros from dungeon crusade in LOD style as a goal or something lol.
Another great tutorial Michael. Very reminiscant of my D&D game days, only this creation looks better and works differently.
Thanks
It does not appear these are available on the website? In fact going to your webshop loads nothing and says US customers only?
Thanks for putting this together!
i just can't wait for more content for this game, me and my playgroup are loving it! Keep going Michael, you crafted a real treasure here!
As someone who has been a board gamer for almost 5 years, with roughly 250 games in my collection, and my focus becoming overland/dungeon crawlers, there is no game on the planet that I want more than this game. I am dying to get my hands on a copy as I feel like the amount of adventure that awaits me is unlimited. Thank you for your work in creating this game sir
Michael, I’ve been playing board games as a “serious” hobby for a decade, I’ve already played yours more than any other game. It’s a joy. I guess after you’ve personally poured so much into bringing something like this to life you risk being disheartened when you see complaints from some, so I wanted to add my voice to just remind you to sure take any learning from complaints but never forget how many people are quietly LOVING what you’ve produced. I certainly am!
Gracias por la dedicación y el cariño que le pones a tu espectacular juego!
Hi Michael, You need to stop defending what you have done. This game is a very good experience, it is fun to play and Rules are readable. However you laid out your book someone would find fault with it. When you play a game such as this, you need to be prepared to move about the books abit. I remember playing Ad&D that had far more rules and charts to consult. So much that 1 "player" had to be the DM (games master). This game allows us ALL to play, and all to enjoy the exploration and fights. No-one is seen as the "baddy" out to kill the rest. So hold your head up high, Go on a long deserved holiday and produce us more adventures. This game is worth every penny I payed for it and more........!!!
Thank you for a great video, I'm looking forwards to others in the near future. I find that 1.25 or 1.5 speed works fine to blast through it (English is my first language)
As a big fan of your work, it's awesome to see my little Ker Nethalas there in the background!
And I'm happy to own it 🥰
I am still learning the game and can not wait to start playing. Just want to say that the updated videos are so cool. It helps a lot to watch a video after you read a few chapters in the rulebook. Thank you!
Dear Michael, you have put your heart and soul into this wonderful game. You can see and feel that, and you can be proud of it. There are always things that could have been done better or differently, but where would there still be room and the need for improvement and progress if everything was already perfect? Thank you for your tireless efforts!
awesome game keep it coming
Hi Michael! I think, you don't have to justify yourself- you have created a masterpiece of YOUR mind and I (and for sure many many others) have a lot of fun and a very good time, playing and experiencing it! The game and book are as they are, and they are nearly perfect for me! There is always something that could be done better, this will never end. But I have two ways to handle these: I can search for issues and errors and feel bad - or just ignore them, houserule things, let my imagination play and just have fun with it. 😊👍🏻 From my point of view, great job - you have created a Legendary Item! Thank you for that!
Any word on if the rulebook pdf will be updated with the errata and maybe printable cards for the misprints?
If you go to board game geek I created a thread which has dozens of community collected errata in one place. It will be easy to find. It has links for printable cards, and suggested corrections to amend the rulebook.
Thank you Michael. I am proud to have worked on this a bit with you at the end and will look forward to helping make it even better in the future. Please reach out when you need more.
Great job on this one Michael. Looking forward to more in the series.
you just have to jump in lol.
There were a couple things that I had a hard time finding again later, but over all I was very very impressed with the rulebook overall. I read it all through before starting and I was never confused. The examples, like how charge works, and the index at the end were extremely helpful. And yeah, its easy to say that EVERYTHING about one subject should be in one spot but I could easily see how it would bog down the teaching process and turn into a never ending tangent of clarifying every little thing. I definitely think that it reads a little easier when sitting down and reading start to finish as opposed to finding things later but I understand the choice. Overall great job trying to teach such a huge system. It really is special 👍
Very fun to listen! This game is a masterpiece, I’m having a blast playing it
Thanks Michael
