I did the same thing to my SuperCrew, however I am 6 ft tall and so I remove the rear seat back, that gave me an extra 10 inches. Lots of room if you're taller. I've been living in my truck full time for almost 3 years. I'm saving a ton of money. 2000 per month for rent times 12 months, that makes 24,000 I've been able to save on rent per year. Best thing I've done in a long long time

@@SamuelM5608 that is awesome. I’m on 2.5 years. Yes I later removed the rear seating entirely and posted videos. I also later made some rather nice shelving (not shown) and added small battery generator (not shown). Paid my land off in 1.5 years. Debt free. If I didn’t drive so much I’d possibly get myself a full size truck but this works well for now. Love this Tacoma. Maybe someday all of us Truck nomads can meet up. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t have the dimensions but I got my dimensions using a large piece of cardboard, razor blade, and pencil. Then jigsaw with a scroll cutting blade and 100 grit sand paper to smooth the corners. It did take multiple trips to the truck to fit and shave down sections where it rubbed against the interior. All said and done it only took me 30 mins to make with tools and supplies ready. Hope this helps.

If my work has showers then I’d shower there too. Keep baby wipes around for those random days the gym is unexpectedly closed. On my property I’ve even showered with a jug of water and a battery garden sprayer. Before anything was built. Get creative but stay clean. Might be a bit too tall. I have measured it out before. To the end of the foot well, it is about 6ft 4 inches. However, you have to slope the platform slightly downward, and once the bedding goes on top, you will lose clearance for your feet. My guess is that your feet will still touch the bottom of the dashboard at that height.

Glad it helped! How does your battery bank work? I didn’t find mine to be sufficient enough to keep the blanket warm. Might try a small heating pad underneath me. For inside a vehicle, an inflatable pad that’s a minimum 3 inches thick is likely sufficient. I’ve seen a lot of videos of people aiming for 4 inches thick. In the Tacoma I can’t go much wider than 22 inches. Hard to provide a specific pad, as some brands changed their quality/pricing over the years. Many “underdog” companies at that time that have risen up with cheaper and good quality products, but I haven’t tested them. Focus on the principles and remember, you can always remove layers so I always bring more starting off. If you’re camping outside a vehicle, feel free to email me. Much more detail needed there. Lol

Get creative. I wear a big winter hat and pull it over my eyes and heavy wool socks. Use foam ear plugs if it gets too noisy outside. Crack maybe 2 or 3 windows to reduce condensation inside instead of all 4 like in the summer. When you wake up, use anything long enough push brake pedal and press start engine button to warm up vehicle. Lol. Too easy. I’ve been way behind on videos, but I’ve made a couple major upgrades to the truck I’d like to show someday. Work has me distracted at the moment.
