    I know SFV is in the works but in my opinion this game is Capcom's PEEK of fighting games. This is probably the best STREET GAME made for fighting enthusiast

    inari12700 That is a super jump. It is performed by quickly pressing down then up. It is done the same way in marvel vs capcom 2.

    And then as far as parrying random combos you just have to watch their move patterns. Like some players will almost always get into a robotic like combo set that they have memorized, like medium sweep you as soon as you get back up followed by super combo etc.

    I have been playing this game for about ten years, and I have just recently started to understand multiple parrying. I have always been able to parry a few hits there or projectiles, but it's all about rhythm. If you listen to the way it sounds when they parry for example chun li's combo 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ... 8 or ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..... ha you should be able to do it as well. I started with akuma's three hit fire ball followed by jumping dive kick.

    yeah they can parry chun lee super, but they can't when it is chun li.

    You know whats funny third strike is not a 6th sense game completely. Yes there is always a good guess or good read but with third strike its more about putting your opponent in a situation where you know they have limited option... and then you start to force them to do stupid stuff like a wake up upper or something that you can parry then punish. Its a mind game. The parry system really does put a cap on spamming but like anything else it takes practice.

    Dude that Dudley was "Gutter Trash". Fujiwara or Kokujin's Dudley would show that Ryu a thing or two ;)

    Hah! Well said. In the training room I can parry 50 hadokens, ex's and ultras in a row. In a match I can do 1 then get hit by a second cos I didnt know it was coming. Otherwise wed parry every hit!

    did you watch the video, compared to daigo or something yes, he is garbage but overall in terms of skill of the average 3rd strike player in america, he is decent, his gameplay overall wasnt too solid, but he can parry better than the average player

    I wouldn't say he terrible, but agreed not on Diago's level. I do kind of wish people would watch the match after Daigo parried the chun super though.

    Not only that, but all the roaring fans in the background were probably a huge distraction. Lots of people that I know parry by sound, myself included, so I know I would never be able to pull it off in the same situation.

    I realy like how the Ryu Player fight. He dont use that Boring down+middle kick to hadouken combo, that 99% of the Gamers use. He's Oldschool. Just Hardkick :) and Zoning
