I was in Fabric on a Friday night (Fabriclive) must have been around 2004, James Lavelle was dj’ing. He starts to mix this into his set and out popped Ian Brown to sing unannounced. So fucking good.
Danced to this every week in the late 90s! My hometown and home club.
The Cure cover!
This is criminally underrated for a video 13 years old.

hi
good
Nice
As old as this tune is, and as brilliant as it still is even in 2022 . . .I've got to admit it, this thing haunts me and hurts me more than anything. It's one of those tunes, it is literally just *pure existential threat* distilled into a few minutes of melody and rhythm. That this tune isn't dated or old-fashioned in 2022 really says bad things about how the past 12-plus years have turned out. We are closer to societal collapse and the end of human endeavor than we ever have been. Why? It's not just that people don't listen. Rather, it's that the loudest and most passionate of us also have the least insight. If anything their inability to form thoughts and ideas for the *present day,* versus barfing up the same old shit that was outdated in the 1940s, 1840s, and points farther back in history, ends up draining insight from other people. It gets hard to come up with new ideas, when the same old inbred 28-30 percent of the population is STILL anti-vaccine, racist and misogynist as fuck, anti-society as fuck, refuses to consider the lives of others as having ANY value, and is just plain out to ruin everything for no real reason. Oh, except for the obvious one: some of the bastards are on a monetary or social payroll and aren't even sincere, they're just doing what they're paid to do. And then there's this song. It gives me the same vibes, always. Cities locked down; society punished; people of society being butchered by armed robots, drones and the black helicopters and dark satellites that control them. A _semper supra_ scenario where a homicidal and moneyed minority is always above, always held above ordinary, decent people to keep them from doing anything against entrenched parasitic wealth. Because apparently that IS America. Butcher everyone with robots and drones and from helicopters before you let ordinary non-redneck, non-traitor people have ONE DAMNED THING EVER. Nah, people can't get hired at better jobs without "the economy" striking back, that is, without landlords and corporations PRICE GOUGING on a total and permanent scale and calling it "inflation." Nah, people can't have better lives without food and rent becoming unaffordable, even as housing is kept empty whole city blocks at a time, walled off and held back. Nah. Send in the Fake Machine Uprising, butcher people instead. Nothing is more empty than a graveyard that's stuffed full.

What a great song, I love it! I put it into my "Shellshocked Radio - Recommendations" List: ua-cam.com/video/y86idl4YA-c/v-deo.html Very well done!

Mami, salí a jugar dominó.
Fantastic cover!

Yes. Just always yes.

i actualy like this better than the original. I grew up in the 90s, i love the music i grew up with, but sometimes today's music shouldn't be spat on simply because it's todays music. in fact, most ppl know 'wonderwall' by oasis, but while the original's great, this chick named Juliet Weybret did a [much] better version a few years back. It adds a lot of emotion to the track, which i think often happens when a woman sings a song instead of a guy. i know u might not believe me, but check this out if u have the time; ua-cam.com/video/UZ5IRFf84qo/v-deo.html

*У нас было два пакетика травы...*
How??? Pls, answer me!!!
It was just a regular assembly of parts, animated with the physics on. I don't use Inventor anymore so can't remember all the specifics but I probably had to tweak the material properties to get the springs to bend/move the way I wanted but that's it. The "notes" of the springs aren't actually tuned to anything in a musical way. Hope that helps!
Thanks for giving life to one of the best Cure covers of all time.
I still consider this the best cover of this song.
Dope song
Which CAD did you use?
