You can open the Library, find the FK Extender in the EDAPT Objects folder and delete it, then export your GIF and revert the file or close it without saving. Alternatively, you can double-click the FK Extender and guide the layer, so that the circle becomes invisible. After the export you can unguide to show it again.

Hello, Elena! It's an additional element between the torso and the upper arm, which only contains a CM, MT and a FK Extender. The MT is quite close to the Reg Point. To insert this extra shoulder element, you just need to re-rig the arms, i.e. remove Rig info and rig them again as children to the shoulder bits. Since the shoulder elements are small, it may be best to rig them using the manual method via the Smart Magnet Rig panel. Hope this helps!

Involving external programs such as Illustrator always complicates tasks because of various compatibility issues that you will face with artwork created in Illustrator and how Animate interprets it. None of this is relevant to EDAP Tools and SMR which work in Flash / Animate only. To rig a bunch of symbols as SMR the only requirement is proper registration - i.e. the Transformation and Registration points should match. How you get there is up to you.

What do you mean? These a pro-grade tools and obviously you can move any element in the rig.

Try exporting a PNG Sequence and WAV and then recombine those in a video editor such as Premiere. To export a PNG sequence use File > Export > Export Movie... and in the file type drop-down choose PNG Sequence. This will use a different renderer and usually solves all export issues.

Most likely you have an automatically created "Tween" symbol involved, which results in two different symbols in the left and right key of your tween.

You are right. Animate's Asset Warp and FlexiBones are almost unusable. At the moment the best option is to create a custom brush for the tail and then use Shape Tweens for the animation as the tail will be just a line. You can incorporate this into a Smart Magnet Rig by putting the Shape Tween animation inside a graphic symbol. In the future we intend to explore deformers, and if successful to add to Smart Magnet Rigs, but it will probably not happen in the next year or two.

It's just a simple exercise, which you can easily replicate in about 20 minutes when you have the rig. Preparing a sample file for public download takes a lot of effort to make sure everything is annotated and there are no stray objects in the library. I wouldn't normally do 'legless' poses as it can later lead to awkward-looking silhouettes, due to poor balance and dynamics, but in a presentation it can make the usefulness of a multi-pass approach to animating a walk cycle more apparent. - N
