The sound is low different to the early YES. Pt. III is genial. I heard YES since my teenager times, with a rest between my 40s/ 50s now I have time to enjoy all the best of Prog Rock - Genesis, KC, and YES...

This album really calms me down when I'm having anxiety attacks.

I know this is the Benoit David (ie not Trevor Horn vocal) version, but you can tell instantly that this is "Drama" rather than "classic" Yes

Benoit David is a spectacular singer

It's really a sin how they treated Benoit David and even redid this with a much poorer singer, almost as if to wipe this from history. Benoit's voice is fantastic for Yes. Oh well... They treated Patrick Moraz the same.

So I listen two the peices return trip and fly from here. My opinion is I find fly from here more aggressive probably due to them also they had also had just got done recording drama as well. Return trip is great as well. Geoff downs is a noticeable difference as well.

I purchased Return Trip a few months ago. I am really surprised how good this is with Benoit's voice. I had a chance to see Yes in New Orleans at the House of Blues with David Benoit, but being the Yes snob I was I sold my tickets. I now wish I had seen the show. I had no idea. I am going to see if I can find the Benoit version on line to buy.

Mesmo sentindo a falta de Jon Anderson, o álbum Drama é o disco mais bem elaborado de todos, com Trevor Horn ficou quase perfeito, pois a voz de Anderson é insubstituível!

It's amazing to read these comments now. No band invokes so many different reactions and opinions as Yes. Like several have mentioned, I tend to prefer Jon Anderson to other vocalists in the band. However, this version is different. It is a masterpiece no matter who the singer is. It prompted me to revisit the Drama period, and I have found a new appreciation for it. The brilliance of Yes is they can make a song about a lonely airfield sound compelling. Genius! Whenever I'm looking for something to play for about 20 minutes, I pick this compilation. Or Awaken live.

When music was music for eternity... so much passion, so much inspiration, so much beauty...

I too have the original CD with Benoit David autographed by the all band members. Met him at an outdoor performance in Boca Raton, Florida.Very personable and he definitely captures the sound and emotion of early Yes.

Please don’t ever take this down since I’m having trouble replacing the version iTunes deleted from my hard drive, which was ripped from a CD. it wasn’t even there format and they still deleted it and they’re not offering to make it right

iTunes removed the copy that I ripped from my own CD and refused to do anything about it. I did not purchase it from them and I think I need to find someplace besides iTunes to store my music.

Does anyone else feel Genesis in Sad Night at the Airfield? Imagine Steve Hackett and Mike Rutherford's 12-strings, and Peter Gabriel on vocals! That said, this is the only post-Drama Yes track I've been able to listen to the end of... and then another 3 times. Thanks for posting, and all the informative comments.
