Ive seen tiny carpenter ants kill Wasp nests because they were bored, the Horsefly never stood a chance. Carpenter ants are invasive and whats sad is across north and south America they are what can be described as slaughtering all the giant ant species native to this continent, especially in south America, it really sucks and what makes it worse these things can reproduce from 2 ants to massive million ant nests, they reproduce at insane speeds, and because of the amount dwarf any other species, with the exception of the fire ant which funniely enough has kept them at bay in the Basin area of the US and Australia.

Okay. Three things. 1. There was no other possible ending. For basically any arthropod trapped and surrounded by angry ants in their own domain. Ants win. Every time. 2. When you say "Happy Ending" I think "They fight, then make up, do a dance, sing a song, something Disney, and peace reigns forever in the Enchanted Kingdom of Hymenoptera. 3. You put the wasp there. The wasp did not choose to be there. The wasp is not the villain. You are. So if it's not going to be the Disney/Pixar musical happy ending, I'd go with you being dragged into the nest through a plastic tube to be eaten. Nothing personal.
