I’m so glad to hear that!! Thank you so much!! Most of my wardrobe is cos and arket, but I also love Uniqlo , they do great lambs wool and cashmere, very good value too. I also like jigsaw, whistles and & other stories (stories you do need to read to fabric composition but the natural fibre knits are lovely too) I actually want to try out some other premium high street brands for knitwear later in the year , brands that strike the balance of high quality at the right price. Xx

I just add a bit more eye cream to be really honest, unless I have been out or in London and then I will wash with zero soup shower gel , we have one that you can use for everything and it’s just a soup free gel , simple do one, and then I will just put the eye cream on but all over my face as it is light, moisturiser and repairs , I’m super basic, I just believe in sun protection and getting a good night sleep, I don’t eat sugar or junk food and I noticed years ago cutting out that stuff totally changed my skin, oh yeah and I quit drinking hehe , so yeah it’s a lifestyle routine rather than a proper skin care one but I’m always very humbled when people ask🥰 sorry that was so rambly!!! 🙏💕Xx

All my chunky cashmeres and cardigans are size xs, my slim cashmere that i wear more in spring are size s so they look more relaxed, yeah i used to save things for best, but i believe now that every day should be the best so i wear cashmere most days🥰

@ yes I used to be in bands, I’m a singer & guitarist, and play a bit of keys (not very well though) I love a lot of guitar bands, wolf alice, radio head, I also like a lot of 80s and 90s bands like garage, brmc, tears for fears, the smiths , real mix though

i graduated hs in 86 the fixx is one of the bands i like from that era riding on the metro by berlin is a favorite i like all kinds of music going all the way back to vivaldi and bach played guitar in cover bands, was recruited to write songs with a singer bass player in the 90s but I quit to study classical and jazz played bass in a jazz band just having fun these days improvising over jazz standards and all sorts of other music and learning different styles of the masters like coltrane i like talking to you

@ music is the best, I miss playing live sometimes but I enjoy working behind the scenes now as a music supervisor 🙏 your journey sounds really cool 🙂

And especially with the times we live in I just wanted to show that spending mindfully on a weekly shop of basics can help so much keeping costs down 🙂 appreciate the comment so much!! I am going to do more budget related videos next month 🙂

@ I grew up in north London …very Waitrose / M&S vibes!! So I get it hehe, my Lidl shop is very much me trying to do a Waitrose style shop on a budget 🙈

I guess I’m trying to make light of the situation as I was struggling that day , you’re right though it’s different simple life / being boring. I wouldn’t say I’m bored , I like a slow pace, but the routine this time of year can be lonely , just a bad day, feeling more positive now🙂

my reference to being boring was related to the title of your video I never minded being busy although I agree a slow pace is less stressful something I said a long time ago there is something beautiful about the simple ordinary every day life of an average person, a complicated life is stressful struggle doesn't phase me at all in fact I believe that even failure is simply part of the process of succeeding, sometimes you have to loose before you can win in regards to being lonely any situation can be lonely but I think that tends to be the result of a lack of imagination of what to do with your time, I confess I often criticize my self for not having enough imagination you're very interesting aren't you

@ very good thoughts 🙏 yes indeed, it’s a funny one, because I love my alone time in the evening when I have it, and love just chilling with my other half, I think it is during the day when I work from home and I have too much time to over think, it’s why I need back ground noise, I have been working from home over 3 years now and I just know the routine if I don’t get out and do stuff eventually causes depression and then loneliness, and I think we all get those days when it simply catches up with us right? And absolutely, failure is all part of the journey, there are so many creative challenges, and I enjoy every second 🥰 really appreciate your thoughts

I worked from home for like 3 years - I honestly fealt like I was living in a space ship I could never leave Eventually decided I need a job I can drive to and that's what I did - ended up finding the best job I ever had with some great people I like interacting with isolation does bad things to your psyche but with a strong will you can control your thoughts and emotions, but still changing your situation really helps especially getting out of the house and face to face conversations

My oversized chunky cashmeres are in size xs. Yeah they go in and out of stock but I think they will be a core piece at cos forever, so worth the money . I have a few of the normal cashmere crews too , I size up to a size small in those so they are more relaxed 🥰 thanks so much!!! Really appreciate that 🙏 xx

That’s exactly what I do!!! I have the cos swing bag in 4 colours for example… and yeh I showed 4 of my 501 90s here, I have 6… no shame at all🥰 I think that’s personal style , knowing what works and embracing that and not straying too far from what we know we love 💕 uniform dressing is the best x
