Prop Governor Positions
This video is here to help you understand propeller speed better. We'll talk about three things: regular speed, too much speed (over speed), and something called UND. We'll also explain how the propeller governor works and why speed can change. Plus, we'll discuss why going too fast (high speed) is important.
Are you a bit confused about how fast a propeller spins? No worries! Our video is here to explain it all in simple terms. We'll talk about when it spins normally, when it spins too fast, and something called UND. Also, we'll help you understand the propeller governor, which is like a manager for the speed.
And don't forget, we'll chat about why sometimes the propeller needs to go really fast. By the end of the video, you'll know all about propeller speed conditions. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more easy explanations about airplanes!

Zero Side Slip Lesson
Переглядів 5 тис.Рік тому
Welcome to the Academy of Ace Pilots! Have you ever been curious about "zero side slips" during an engine outing? Let us analyze it using straightforward terminology. Any airplane with 0% (eliminated) side slip has its nose aligned with the wind. Imagine there is no side slip when a component of the string is taped along the plane's center line. Zero side slips can be attained using a combinati...
Minimum Controllable Airspeed (Vmc) Lesson
Переглядів 7 тис.Рік тому
Have you ever been curious about the VMC speed in #aircraft with many engines? Let's simplify it. Minimum controllable speed, or VMC, is the equivalent of an airplane's superhuman speed during an incredible engine outage. Many considerations are taken into account when determining this speed under 14 CFR part 23 section 23.135C, particularly for aircraft certified under the former 14 CFR part 2...

Determining Maneuvering Speed (Va) Lesson
Excellent video thank you!
Nice lesson! One small error though, the animated compressed air is travelling the wrong way through the intercooler. It should be travelling from the compressor to the cylinder.
Explanation is fantastic but I think your math is incorrect. 3600/3800=0.947. Square root of .947 is 0.973 x 135=131.355
Thanks! Animating the physical position and movement of the cowl flaps and control levers helped me accurately chair fly the procedures and develop muscle memory before getting in the sim and airplane.
great video
The penguin is so cute
This seems accurate for multi-engine aircraft so thank you for adding that level of nuance to the video. Most constant-speed propeller videos are over single-engine aircraft.
Pneumatic boots are just glued on. Sounds nice saying “bonded” but glue is all they use. Great video!
Love it. Now I fully understand the function of cawl flaps.
You're smart for a penguin, helped a lot
Lose the annoying music, please.
the best video so far i could find here for VA
I have my multi checkride in a few days and have been watching all your Multi Videos. You do such a good job explaining everything in a simple way and the animations are fantastic. Thank you so much I hope you keep producing videos. They are very underrated, and if you keep doing it I know you will get a bunch of traffic to your videos!
Agreed these videos are amazing!
For example,mexican private jet tragedy
I love your intersting channel❤
Why is a bird that can’t fly teaching me how to fly ? 😭
Great video tho 👍🏼
Great video thank you so much
You are so welcome!
Thank you for posting! Very easy to understanding!
Glad it was helpful!
thanks
I was reading pilot handbook (FAA) It’s same content. Too good , but visual also. Great. 👍
Thanks a lot 😊
Thank you for your best Explantions
You are welcome!
Wonderful content! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video!
Thanks!
Thanks for the explanation but i have a question why will the pressurization system not simply maintain cabin pressure at sea level(14.7psi) though its still a well breathable air but rather maintains pressure at about 8000ft(10.9psi) above sea level????
It has to do with the pressure differential between the cabin and the outside ambient pressure. Basically, to maintain sea level pressure at say 35,000 feet, the difference in pressure between the inside and the outside is huge and could be too much for the structure of the aircraft to handle.
Great point
Well said
can u speed up the video more? its very slow
You can do it yourself by going to the video settings on the upper right corner. To me the speed is good though 🤷♀️
Very nice! This cleared things up a lot!
Very useful, informative video. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful indeed. Many thanks.
Great video!
