You can get weather stripping that will fit in the groove on the lid of the igloo. I'm sure that would help it out.

Got one used in early 2020 (free because the polyethylene water line turned hard and cracked at less than 6 months from the manufacturing date on the label) bought *silicone* tubing from amazon and got four summers use before it quit working ("ice full" error - will work for a couple of days after a cleaning cycle and then defaults to "ice full" with no ice...) gonna have to go through the plumbing and sensors to see if it can be resurrected again...

Lots of bears come out at night near the water side. Sugar bears, they will get into your ice chest, grab cofee mate and anything with sugar

Is the lid hollow or insulated? The quick fix I see is people putting insulated foam spray

For the price difference the igaloo got my money buying one today

I went camping, popped three bags of ice in there during daylight, and the next day, about end of day, half the ice was melted it was inside my car, meaning not under direct sunlight I have to say, this is pretty standard cooler performance for me, I mean it kept HALF the ice still cold I didn't even have any food in there, just ice bags, was going to store whatever I hunted in there

Here's a hack for you that works Fill 4-6 Gatorade 1qrt bottles 80-90% with water(DO NOT FILL as bottles will split when frozen) and freeze them for at least 4 days before trip but preferably at least a week. Put all 4 in middle of cooler or split 2 lots of 3 if you have 6 bottles Place everything else in cooler. Slide a small bottle of Jack Daniels in one cornerBECAUSE Fill cooler WITH ICE to overflowing, covering everything. Make sure it's sealed shut Depart for your trip ENJOY Note bottles don't have to be Gatorade...any plastic drinking bottles will do just make sure they are frozen solid for at least 4 days but the longer they freeze the slower they will thaw. Last tip: educate everybody with you to be in & out of cooler quick smart and don't leave it open for tooooo long

Ofcourse the Yeti is great but price is totally different between Igloos. For 4-5 day's traveling Igloo i enough good for good price.

We will be traveling with our EV(first long trip) and not with our Class C motor home. So, the bathroom situation is important. your cooler was empty it needs to be full with precooled product of course its gonna melt empty when you put cold stuff im it it helps retain the cold that why they tell you to keep your freezer full and some big block ice also last longer

did you wait 2 hours after unboxing it and putting it on the counter before using it? It says to do that in the manual, but I missed it and now I'm wondering why it takes 45 minutes to fill the basket when the manual says 8-13 minutes.

Best ice = put 16.9 bottle in freezer ice pic 3spots just right for a 40oz.

My 260 yeti doesn’t keep ice for 5 days at 90 degrees! Still super cold water at 5 days but not ice. Longest i have seen was about 3.5 days and half water half ice. It’s all BS when any of them claim the coolers can. Just buy reusable freeze blocks and mix those with ice. Ice melts, bleed off some Water. Doesn’t matter if ice or not. Matters of keeping your goods suitably cold.

Dont buy any fridgidaire product! I just pain over 2 grand for a frig. Upon delivery it had a warranty issue. After over a dozen calls they finalls said no service tech was avialable. NO WARRANTY! Brand new purchased from Lowes and no Warranty. Buyer beware!!! I notified the Better Business B. and they had recieved no response from Frigidaire. I did notice the folks I talked with were in India!!! That was a clue. Frigidaire (I used to be a dealer) has gone the way of other good products. Sad

Make another test. Put a case of beer in each, then fill with ice as much as you can fit in each. Then see which case of beer stays cold for longer.

İt's just simple physics. The yeti has thicker walls-more insulation, igloo less retentionmore room to put stuff in.

The ECOCOOL Latitude 90 Qt Roller Cooler - Handle Pivot Caps (Handle assembly bolt/plug) popped out and I have no idea where it went. I've only used the cooler 3x. I recommend checking yours to see if it's loose, it's cheap plastic and poorly designed. However, I contacted Igloo and they are sending me a new cooler. I asked if they could send me the caps but they don't carry replacement caps. So, asked customer support if they could pop the caps out of the new cooler and just send them so I wouldn't have to send the damaged cooler and deal with the inconvenience, but they can't do that. The plugs get damaged when you take them out. He said not to worry they aren't requiring me to send back the used cooler. I'm very pleased with the customer service. Thanks for the review.

Hello, can you use a 30 amp to 20 amp piggyback plug so this can be used on standard household outlets? For example the kilowatt model sold at harbor freight can only monitor upto 15 amps. So your limited on what appliances ect can be monitored. But this power watchdog has higher amp rating. Any feedback is appriciated. Thanks again...
