Thank you so much for sharing about Malta, I'm now quite intrigued! I'm a rettired single American woman in my 60's and I'm planning to move abroad. Can you share any information about cost of living in Malta? Thanks so much! God Bless
46 also no friends, don't feel sorry for myself, some of us were made to be solitary.
Love it 🎉🎉🎉
U don’t look 41
I thought you were British
You are so amazing!!!!
I am also an introvert too. I do not hate people or hate interacting as social media claims about introverts. However I enjoy time to myself. I find it is easy to make and keep friends when you understand your personality traits and also try understanding others. When I was young I was aware I was reserved and because it was always highlighted in a negative way I started seeing myself as being strange and unfriendly and as a result started acting extroverted in order to fit in and seem fun but I could not keep up with that act cause I would feel extremely exhausted after putting myself out so much. When I accepted my introversion and became comfortable with my reserved nature I started being honest with friends about what I could and could not do. Lost some friends along the way🤷🏾♀️.I also now remind myself to be intentional. As much as I can be lazy to reach out, I try to make an effort so that the friendship does not feel one sided. Our downfall as introverts is we are direct, not rude but direct. Also we can seem to others as being boring and too serious because we are over thinkers and that could be an issue on your end too. I also think God creates some people to have a big community (friends) and others a small community. Because as an introvert we easily get exhausted we are better with a smaller community. To have and keep friends as an introvert we honestly have to make extra effort but also select people who we don’t feel overly stretched with. People who also get you as a person. People you can communicate with honesty and respectfully with. Also understanding that some friendships are not forever gives one a lot of peace. You may out grow people and people may out grow you as well. Also some people can see you as someone to kill time with and not necessarily a friend. Hard pill to swallow but that’s life.
Im in Houston
Haven't of Mills and Boon or Harlequin Romance in the longest 😂
All is well, friendships can be tricky. It's not always your fault everyone has inner demons to deal with, which causes navigating friendships to be difficult. I've had to end my friendship second time with an old friend. And now at 48 I feel like I don't really have friends but I am okay with it. Dealing with one's own demons is hard enough let alone some else's It seems my boyfriend is the only one who seem to get me. Also,my observation anyway when you have inner and depending on oneself that can be threatening to other people. It is rare to have authentic friendship these days. Alot of people seem to be flimsy either that or friendships have become transactional. The universe has our back, you struggled with friendship but was blessed with a solid husband if it happens that he goes before you there'll be something or someone else then to come your way that will keep you company.
I'm also 41, single, also an introvert. It's hard, I work go to the gym and home. I find it hard to approach people. I've been trying on apps.
It's not you. Embrace who you are and practice self care. There is a place for you. There's a friend or even friends for you. I think you're on the right track too as you are very self aware and sharing your vulnerability publicly is a great strength not so many people have. Blessings.
Sometimes having acquaintances is better than friends
This is my life
I can relate ….
I haven’t had friends since 2018 or 2019 when I was in high school I had one after the high school but it ended because this person said I was no good friend so I cut them off so I don’t regret them I mean cutting them off but the ones I had in high school were actually good friends but I just became I guess distance or so after graduated because they were pretty much one or two years under me and every time I lose contact I try to re-contact when I find them I let them be because now that they’ve graduated now I see that one of them has kids and the others don’t but I’ll let it be all because it was a group so I left it as that because now that they graduated and now they got an older they probably be with the drama type of stuff you like if you talking to such and such don’t hang out with me so that’s the reason why I let it be But we still have no hard feelings against each other. I still love them till this day and wish them the best of luck.
Me right now I’m 25 I don’t have friends why they say making friends as an adult is hard because you have to think about that everyone’s grown now people got responsibilities jobs and so it’s best to find some people like me for instant I am a housewife so I don’t work so I need to find a housewife I don’t have kids and don’t plan on having kids so I need to find someone who’s a housewife and doesn’t have kids and pretty much with the same interests I do have or so not all of it has to be the same, but just a couple to just relate to each other or she doesn’t have to be a housewife just don’t have kids
I have no friends either. My romantic relationships are subpart too i'm never one to stick around long enough my childhood wasn't ideal either i can totally relate.
We have a similar story ❤ i feel seen.
14:32 "Its not like I need friends". How we talk to ourselves is very important. Just be honest with yourself, you're fighting and rationalising your feelings. It's ok to say we need people, humans are social beings and no one is an island. If you didn't need friends you wouldn't be on UA-cam making videos about not having friends. I don't say that as a slight. I wish you well and most importantly, as someone who knows what its like to have a father with dementia, your dad to be in some peace. All the best 🌹
Hi Idah! Thank you for your well wishes. I appreciate it 😊. I completely agree with your opinions. When I say “I don’t NEED friends”, it’s because there’s a difference between “need” and “want”. I am aware that we need social connections and the “needing” part is covered by my husband and son. They’re my best friends. However, I would like to have more connections with others who aren’t my family. To be able to converse and share interests with others is definitely something I hope for. I actually made mention of this in my new video. Being introverted, I am able to thrive in smaller groups or alone. I hope that clarifies my thoughts a bit more? All the best to you too! 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Hey Isabella, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you (even though I don’t know you personally). I too don’t have friends and I’m 21. I acquaint a lot of people, but haven’t found real friendship that I want to nurture and I think it’s partially because I’m introvert and I don’t really open up but I want to work on it, because I want to experience real & lifelong friendship(s). As a Christian, I find that I am very particular with who I associate myself with because of my faith & what the Bible says about the people we surround ourselves with (1 Corinthians 15:33). God knows I want real friendship, so on top of wanting to put myself out there, I’m also going to start praying about it so that the right people will find me and I’ll find them. And I suggest that you do the same if you haven’t yet. Much love! 🫶🏾 #newsubscriber
As someone who is 30 with no kids and in a interracial relationship living in predominately white areas. Making friends is not exactly likely. I have gotten into the gym and started writing short films, hiking. And guess what. I DO THEM ALONE. its okay to enjoy your alone periods. If u cant be alone with yourself and be content its some deep trauma u havent addressed.
Am 28, and I was asking myself the same question u were asking like what’s wrong with me? Like I never had good friends and I never fit anywhere
There is nothing wrong with you. I just think that, similar to me, you had an unstable upbringing, at least from a social standpoint and that in itself can be sort of traumatising and destabilising for a developing child. It’s normal that you struggle with adult relationships given that you had to deal with having such fragmented and unpredictable relationships in childhood. There may also be other trauma or situations from childhood that you have yet to unpack that subconsciously affect which people you choose to be friends with, how you behave in friendship etc. I know this because I hace a very similar story to you and suffer from the same thing-I’m also a bookish introvert. I think therapy is a great outlet and since you are clearly self-aware, journaling and reflecting on your experiences and feelings can be a great way to help you cope.
Im 40 similar predicament, Im friendless by choice. My kind heart and character wont allow me to be in the presence of any and everyone so with that said, Im fine with my own company nor do i feel lonely
We all need friends
Sending you love, boo 🥺🫶🏾.
Thanks! 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Darling what happened with your hand? Fast recovery, nice and informative video, like your energy and you are cute:)
Thank you Mirko. And it’s kind of you to notice my hand. I tore a ligament while at the gym but it’s getting better now. Cheers! 😊

Love the authenticity of this video. When you said “We can be alone but not feel lonely.” I do think social loneliness is very common.
Yes, it’s more so nowadays in the digital age than ever before.
I’m 49 and married and I don’t have any friends I think I have come too terms with it now I’m involve in church and I have my family and my husband so for me I’m ok with it
Similarly for me. I can’t complain 😊
Me either and I'm happy...I stick with God
🫶🏾❤️
Your not alone I have no friends and I’m okay (sometimes) find a passion you love or a hobby you want to do more and there is where you find like minded people. You have to have common interest with your friends or they will fade away over time.
True words. I’ve got a number of hobbies and i’m truly happy. Thanks!
You’re extremely courageaous doing this video. I would suggest you keep looking for genuine friends, anyone would be lucky to have you as a friend it seems like ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope I find that one genuine person 😊
Keyword ‘bug’. Look into your choice of words.
Not sure what you mean…
Im 61 & completely get you , orphaned at 5 & the same kind of story here in the UK 🇬🇧, you learn at a young age that your different & people notice your resilience & this can be off putting to many peers. Reason being because you are the only one to have you're own back. Stay strong & never stop believing in yourself. ❤ we also have to realise how we treat & respect people is not always reciprocated by others, you're hour of need is not always their concern, & this is what hurts us. I'm now my own best friend.
That’s such a touching experience. Thank you for sharing Tracy. I agree that when people don’t find a certain vulnerability in you, they tend to pull away. I think that some people feed off of other people’s insecurities as this makes them feel stronger and so strong people are not their “kind of friend”. Hope you’re doing well 😊
😍😍😍🥰🥰😘😘😘😘😘
🙂
Really? You would love to hear my thoughts? Okay. I'm thinking you're a very attractive young woman who, with your husband, are quite successful in life. In your channel page bio you say the two of you travel the world on a motorcycle, 'keeping it real'. Forgive me, but that sounds like many people's fantasy. I'm not trying to criticise or condemn the two of you for that. More power to you, in fact. But, maybe this just reflects my personal bias, when I think of people who are keeping it real in the world right now, I'm thinking of people in north Darfur or Gaza. Or maybe a less war torn place like Makoko in Lagos. Or in drought stricken Mexico or southern Africa. They're keeping it real in the sense that nightmares are sometimes reality. I'm not trying to make you feel bad for being successful, just curious, Do you have any advice for them? Maybe, " Hang in there, you'll make it."
❤❤❤
🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾☺️
If you do choose to have some friends it's very important to choose your friends wisely and also choose friends that you can trust and be careful who you trust and tell your problems to not everyone who smiles at you is your friend
That’s absolutely something that I’ve learned. I think I’d just like to meet people who share similar interests. We don’t have to best friends 😅
There's nothing wrong with you, there's many of us like you. Navigating friendships as we get older is hard. Anyway, coffee sometime in the next few weeks? Im visiting 🇲🇹 tomorrow from 🇿🇦.
Hey, hey! Glad to find someone else who relates. Would definitely have loved to grab that coffee but I’m spending Christmas with my husband’s family in Sicily 🙂. How long will you be in Malta for??
Instead of trusting the studies, which mean putting your life in mens hand you basically curse your destiny and life. It is fulfilling to do this alone with God and meet people with that same foundation. I have no friends trough my church, but God places people for a purpose in your life. Either to love, support or destroy.
Of course, I pray the heavens to bring me to someone worthy of my friendship. Thanks!
I will be your friend, sis. I'm glad you are in the world.
Thank you so much! Glad you’re here too 😊
@InspiredbyIsabella ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi! I’m so very sorry about your situation. You need to heal yourself first by thinking more positively and slowly, you’ll attract the right people. I wish you all the best! Big hugs ❤️🧡
