Hi when i try to function test then suddenly change mind cancel and press abort test but not yet fully finish the function test is it effect to the system?or is it okay to abort test
It wouldn't affect any parameters in the set up.... But why did you change your mind😀😀😀you will only be confident if you play with the systems... would suggest you conduct these test when vessel at anchor...so that you can satisfactorily test the Main engines after any changes..

what is FWD and AFT my friend?
Good question.... The Gen sets onboard are located in Forward and Aft direction of the ship , for ex. if it's Alternator is positioned in frwd direction of the ship than the Turbocharger is in art direction. So do the connecting rod both faces inside the gensert are positioned accordingly. That's the FWD and AFT directions.

Yes you right...ME-C type engines usually have pilot valves( 3/4 way type ) operated by engine control systems...where as ME-B type have conventional air distributor system.

Good question.... There is a switch provided on the side of the MPC cards in order to reset it. But the switch needs to be activated only with stopped engines...
Why cylinder oil alpha lubricator is used for lubrication if lube oil is already supplied by LO pumps, Also if both are there, then how it's prevented from intermixing.
Hey hello...Good query... The Marine engines have 2 different types of lube oils ( with different TBN values). One grade is used for engine bearings lubrication while another grade is used specifically for cylinder liner lubrication. LO pumps supply oil for brgs lubrication while the seperate cylinder lubricator supply oil for cylinder liner lubrication. The brg lubricating oil drains back to sump later lubricating the respective brgs and the cylinder oil partially burns away in the combustion process and remaining oil drains to seperate scavenge drain tanks. They never mix up..

Hey hello.. Usually the rings on the piston are pron to wear down and same needs to be renewed.. There are very very less chances of piston getting deteriorated... But in any case piston is damaged ...only solution is to renew it with new pcs...

Hey it's a good question... The 180 deg difference indicates a heavily worn light liquid chamber impeller...which contributes to improper operation of purifier.. As the impeller are of brass material..they are pron to worn out after a prolonged use of purifiers.. So needs to replace if any signs of wear down or as mentioned with 180 deg difference..

A Doubt When You need to Lift the fuel Pump What is the position of cam whether it should drive the roller at this base or whether the lobe should be on roller ?
Good query.....you can lift the fuel pump it's imp that the fuel pump roller should be on base of driving cam and not on peak of the cam... It's to relive pressure on the 4 foundation bolts which secure the fuel pump.

Why you saying, that oil for driving power piston is supplied from HCU? Normally it's supplied from separated system ( alpha lubricator ) by their own pumps under pressure 40-50 Bar, right?
In ME type engines the cylinder lubricator piston is operated by the hydraulic oil via HCU which is at around 250 bar pressure.. The alpha lubricator are used on MC type conventional engines...
Tell me please, how to find all these angles om Main Engine: 2, 47, 137 etc, is it marked on the flywheel or I can see it somewhere on MOP?
