I am a trash man living in a trash world.
I make a lot of orchestral music. Working on a series based on Fire Emblem ROM Hacking. I've been preoccupying myself with the CT Jams and Mario Kart Wii scene, as of late, too.
I'm planning to take this more serious and upload a lot more frequently. No consistent schedule yet, just slow and burning music/game related content.

This track was one I made for a jam a week and a half ago or so. The driving in this run is pretty imperfect, but I just wanted to rock some basic lines. There's another shroomless I missed showing because it's pretty precise to do at around the tree branch turn at the end. You can use the boost from the right boost panel to cut across the mud platform, which was on purpose, it's just fairly tight and risky.
I may update and optimize some different aspects of the driving, but for now, I really wanted to just release and get the major ideas out there. I really like how this track turned out, the only section of the design I'm not fully committed to and may end up changing is that tree branch area a little bit at the end, since it's quite hard and can give finnicky results depending on how you approach it all (although I do like that it does work very Maple Treeway like). Otherwise, hopefully this is another really interesting fun little track, expect more in the future. I think I'm going to try to stick to a more fluid schedule and upload way more, and I'm looking at capture card options so I can record lounge content frequently too, so I can fill in the holes where I'm working on making these tracks (the track work requires weeks sometimes to get right heh).

@Irsu85 I want to fix up a few things in the future and test some stuff. It's safer to call it that until it feels "final" to be honest. There's not really any bugs I know of, but room for more polish and fixing basically 👍

Your tracks are incredible and I love the rising water gimmick! I will say it is kinda confusing to tell where to go in the first area but other than that I think it’s one of your more creative works!

I know that one method is changing the ISO but is slow and tiresome, did you use a method using Gecko Codes or something like that? Thanks! The Funky Texture was just one I found on the wiki a few months ago and replaced it on the iso, yeah.

I am not able to test it yet, so I am just gonna ask here. At the shortcut where you shroom and trick to get on a platform, can you shroom on the last platform to get on the roof? Would be a cool 3 shroom shortcut if you’d add some mud on top or make a giant gap jump to the other side since a u turn is coming…
This woud be a big shortcut again, so maybe not the best idea with the big shortcut on lap 2

Not many glitches to my knowledge, besides some halfpipes jank I wanna try to iron out wherever if possible, and anything I may have missed without knowing it. I usually just call them betas cause I wanna add more yea 😂
