Gamesir G7 SE Hall Effect Controller | Review!

Hello all, Welcome back. Here is the Review video of the Gamesir G7 SE hall effect controller as promised. Its a day late as I missed the amazon delivery, For those of you that dont know hall effect triggers and sticks, They basically use small electro magnetic fields to tell the angle of the sticks, meaning they can never suffer from the dreaded stick drift. will have a review soon enough, just waiting for a few things to arrive first

The video is great, you need to keep promoting your channel. Is not hard.
new channel, growth isnt easy to be honest, i dont have a studio and things like the big tech content creators
VPN is a waste of time. Totally unnecessary. Wouldn't install Norton or McAfee even if they were free. They're both massive resource hogs.
ive never used a VPN, i agree mcafee/norton resource hogs and way too expensive
Ok so you obviously don't know anything about browsers because Firefox and Chrome are absolutely different things. Firefox is the only browser that doesn't based on chromium and uses it's own web engine. And also because of this it is the only one that supports real ad-free browsing experience with uBlock Origin. I don't know how you can make a video about recommending not to use something without even having any knowledge about the topic.
If you need Chrome compatible plug-ins, Brave is a good option.
Chrome plugins also work on opera
Chrome is rubbish too

Daylight Robbery!! How would you spend such an amount of money on an A520 PCIe 3 board in this day and age?
@@aidanconway8518 believe it or not, it was the cheapest board to buy for a modern socket, used boards for sockets like 1151 intel are similar if not more priced But the build isn't for me and they only wanted to pay around the 500-600 mark for a desktop, they don't play big triple A titles either
I got that card its a beast easy to overclock also
@@johnoney8088 good when undervolted aswell
Nice. My RX 6900XT was a very nice card. I replaced it with an RX 7900XTX. My RX 6900XT is now my back-up card.
Nice, Not use any of the 7000 series yet, I think my next upgrade will be a 4080 when the 50 series comes out, Nvidia cards are better for video editing
The truth is it's all you need. Plus water blocks exist for it. Plus if you simply enable fast mem you've turned the tide on low 2D transfer rate without ever touching the 2D clock slider. That's why all these benchmarks are wrong about it. What you have there is a piece of the history of the fall of nVidia and Intel, It's the RDNA 2 with powerful compute units.
i have history from the fall of nvidia and intel? you do realise the card is AMD
@@TheBuildBench You obviously either can't read or lack the comprehension to understand what he said. Please stop making videos either way.
I absolutely love mine! same model. been running it for about a year now with no hiccups. if you get a chance to pick up for around $400, do it. also i dont run ray tracing anyways. id rather have fps anyways.
@@MASTICOR718 i agree fully, its still a great card, people are nvidia shills and they overlook AMD GPUs
I being using it for a couple of years without problems. It will even uninstall Microsoft Edge and all the leftovers that go with it.
@@JamesWilliamson-w8y exactly and edge won't uninstall using the normal windows uninstaller
Yo mate does it Come with fans included
Nope, does come with an ARGB fan controller though
Not terrible, but maybe look up some public speaking tips.
awesome, an internet troll
@@TheBuildBench What?! Chill out, I didn't either like or dislike the video, it was just ok. I've been nervous about using DDU for the first time & the information in this video made me feel more comfortable, to go ahead & get that laptop out of the closet & use DDU. Amd Ryzen all day for gaming and Intel all day for productivity
I would advice everyone to update the polling rate to 1000hz. It's a night and day difference compared to the stock Xbox controller which is hard locked at 125hz. Hz = updates per seconds the client (controller) sends to the device (console).
i havnt used the controller at any other polling rate, went straight to 1000hz, is the difference that noticable
Could use the code if you don't need it
i can send you it, have you got a discord account? ill add you on there and send you it
@@TheBuildBench yeah. laggingu420
Yes, I using asus 1050ti 4GB , for most new games rdrd2, no man sky also once human. Run for 50-60 fps fine.
With this controller I knocked off 1 second from my lap records in MotoGP22... if there is a game where you need a smooth and precise stick, and triggers, this is it.
I can believe it tbh, I might have to try the same on F1 24
Mine keeps randomly disconnecting when i'm shooting on siege idk what to do
different cable? or try an update in the software

4070ti? Really?
yeah i think the 80 and 90 are way to expensive, No doubt the 4090 is an amazing card, but very few people will push it to its limits
@@TheBuildBench well I think ti costs too much for 12gb card and ti super costs little bit more while performs better and has +4gb💪🏼
@@smeagolgolum1107 a 12gb card is fine still, 24gb on the 4090 is future proof but overkill
The card hold the price up because of the mining.
I still think for how capable the card still is though its not a bad price also i didnt think anyone was mining anymore?
@@TheBuildBench some may still do but majority and i included i still have a machine but its with rtx 30 series.
Yeah i use a RX6800 now, The mrs uses the 1080TI but i never got into mining, i dont even understand it

why 9 lol? random number of GPUs
@@TheBuildBench 1 Black personal Rig, 8 silver from ETH mine ran @ 75-80% TDP, still perform great.
oh mining yeah, makes sense, i dont understand mining at all to be honest
Totally and if you need 24gb vram for $1000~ USD the RX 7900XTX
Yup..i just dont see the need to a RTX 4090, AMDs cards are more than good enough for alot cheaper
the gpu works, it will be enough for esports and also u didnt even get drivers for it😭😭 what was the point of making this video?
because like in the comment below, i forgot i used DDU to uninstall the nvidia drivers, when i switched my main rig to an AMD card, id already uploaded the video before i'd realised
@@TheBuildBench maybe u should redo the video
@@ReIicz Thats the plan, But i have a similar video coming up in a day or two, using a 1080TI that i did get the drivers for 😆
@@TheBuildBench nice
There is a VRAM mod for GOW
Yeah... maybe install the driver first? You can't just slap a new component on a pc and expect it to work.
Windows auto installs basic video/graphics drivers. So actually you can but yes you should def upgrade to a newer version manually
Hi there, interesting video. The graphics card would probably have worked if you had installed the Nvidia driver for the GTX 1050Ti. As you can see in 04:26 and 05:23, Windows only recognized the Basic Display Adapter, which the games can't do anything with. HWiNFO recognizes most graphics cards even without the drivers installed. Greetings from Germany.
Oh shit...you know, i never actually thought about that, because i switched from nvidia to amd and used DDU to uninstall the nvidia drivers... I literally forgot LOL
ill be doing a similar video on a 1080TI in the coming days, so Thanks for the comment, ill sort it in the next video
What abt for 5 dollars is it worth?
$5? yeah its well worth it, I'd take any GPU for $5
I'm still using it with a i5-4570, it's not too bad :)) but you definitely won't play recent AAA games :D Old/indie/low spec games run perfectly fine
i have a soft spot for the card still, it was the first GPU i bought, so i will always keep it. Just not viable for me to use now, especially with video editing and things,

Happy to help
i wanna get a 7800x3d and a 4070ti, you think its worth waiting till the 50 series and the 9800x3d drops ? And hope pries drop & i wanna get a 850w pure power-power supply by !be quiet
Prices will probably drop, Id wait to see what the 9800x3d is like as the 9000 series hasnt been the best launch for AMD so far, as far as 50 series GPUs, you could wait, judging from the leaks though the 5080 it not looking much better than a 4080...whereas the 5090 is looking like a beast
@@TheBuildBench hahaha no that 80/90 stuff is out of my league, ima get that 4070ti super then ^^maybe it drops a couple bucks
@@smarft it will drop when the 50 series comes out, but its only a 5080 and 5090 for now, the 5070 wont be till 2025, so the 4070 might not drop until then

Yeah that's usually the way to be fair
the answer is no xD
Definitely...a huge NO lol
Having fans running at same speed as a Jet engine for 10 fps !!! No brother undervolting is where its at !! Same performance with lower fan speeds and temps is what turns my crank !! I have an undervolt on my 5600x and Rx 6800 and love the cool temps .. while gaming Im under 50C on both with a whisper quiet System !! Love it !
i dont find the RX6800 that loud on a OC with a custom fan curve, i more just mess around with OC'ing, i pretty much game with the card running stock
Dont even smoke indoors period, smoking is bad enough already. Take care of yourself, brother
I wish i didnt but you know
im sure if you add a -50 mv offset(to be safe, mine can do -75 but yours might not) on the core it can maybe boost the score and/or reduce the wattage, and power tuning can be safely maxed out too
Thanks, This vid was just a brief like intro for sort of how to do it. I dont really use a OC on my own GPU, i find the rx6800 good enough on stock clocks tbf
you want to strip and clean mine?
for the content yeah LOL
