Well, that was lovely 🥰 for a Disney Channel Original Movie 🎥, Geek Charming. Without a doubt 👍. Love ❤️ this beautiful 😍 song 🎶 from the movie 🎥. I do love ❤️ a happy ending on Disney Channel. Yeah 👍!
This is "Sea song" in a punky way?
Doves are epic. Hopefully I'll see them live some time soon.
Terrible
I was there. Big George cross flag with writing on it at front!!
Forever.The best.Geek Charming.
Алмаз Сафин yes❤️
Love New Order saw this gig.they were terrible......Bernard screaming......come on! What the hell was he thinking.
I was there! Also down the front when they headlined the Other Stage on the Sunday night of the 2003 festival. One of the best moments of my life (that, and Radiohead and REM the previous nights: what a year that was!).
that was a great glastonbury - even the weather was good
i hate the way they turn it into a terrace chant
there football lads you lemon turd
All the way to the BBC
Geek Charming anyone?
Yazzz
Yes!!!
Yeah ❤️❤️❤️
Me!!!!
Jimi's hair looks great long.
Of course it isn't a cover in the sense that we usually think of as 'cover versions'! But without Ian to sing it lacks the soul - the spiritual heart - of the song... No one on earth could capture that... it was his story
I cant find the studio version of this song,i want it*!!!
Same!!
+M Soto Find it yet?
+Jason Weir It's on the album 'The Last Broadcast' that was released in 2002
I know that...saw them in Toronto back in the day. No greater band. Peace.
Is there an album/studio version of this song anywhere
Matt Reilly On the album "The Last Broadcast"
I love Doves, but the drummer can be a bit like a mad woman's shit ...all over the place.
Ian por que te fuiste?
@NorthCountryBoy43 I don't like bono because he is an egomaniac and a fraud. I am in no way jelous of him. I don't really like michael jackson's music, I respect it though, but I don't dislike Michael Jackson the man, and he was more "successful" than U2. So I'm guessing alot of people don't like Bono for the same reasons. Because he is a Satanist and an illuminati minion.
@NorthCountryBoy43 Jealousy? What do you think the Doves are trolling youtube bashing U2? Look mate just because somthing is popular does not make it better. We live in sick world incase you have not noticed where banality and mediocrity is sold as the epitome of human achievement. Look at Satuarday night television in here the UK for example. Programming purely to sedate a moronic, despititualised and tasteless masses right before they flock like sheep to see U fucking 2!
@NorthCountryBoy43 They are not the best, that's just your opinion, Just like it is my opinion that they suck balls, it is not a fact, funny how in a doves video the one of the highest approved comments degrades U2, It is a different league and quality of music.
@NorthCountryBoy43 Just because something is popular does not make it good! Mcdonalds Resturant for example.
@mjd775 Most bands are better than U2.
Every song has already been done. Has anyone noticed the uncanny resemblance between Lightning Seeds' All I Want (1990) and Transvision Vamp's Baby I Don't Care (1989). Away, pedant ! doves are great.
i was there... = )
t wot a bloody din disagree. sumner is shite, ian could rings around him thats why ian was lead singer of joy division not him
a cover!
@PoorOldBen85 Except the Vocals they are Joy Division... with another Style of Music and 30 years later. ;)
If Ian had lived and, one of the others died and then went on to form new order, would it be considered a cover then?
ALL RIFFS ARE COPPED!!! oy vey listen and enjoy, OR post ur shit!!!!
@PoorOldBen85 personally I do. The same people who wrote the music in JD wrote it in NO. Changing a cosmetic feature like the name doesn't make it a new band.
Trying to dance to this in six inches of liquid mud was hard, but achieved.
proud of You, and a bit jelaous 💓 💪
Ian Curtis wrote lyrics AND music in both Joy Division albums. I still have both albums in my room, it says clear as day on the inside cover.
"COMEE OOON!"
Oh right, Jez sings this one - not Andy.
drummers timing is up his hole, shite.
no he didnt ian curtis did everything in both albums stfu
fuck thos glasto bum bashers jimi. just u wait til u hit the barrowlands at the end of the month. it will be mind blowing. fuck the system and fuck glasto
The first bar of the riff is the same, but then the Doves one gets better. If we're being picky, the melody to the first verse of the Lightning Seeds song is 'very' similar to 'Get off (of) my cloud'. I like the lightning seeds by the way, but I'm loving doves !!
Dude listen to the guitar riff. It's exactly the same as the Lightning Seeds song. Regardless of what you think of the quality of their music, you can't deny the similarities. BTW - I'm a Doves fan. I really like them. They remind me of my favorite Manchester band "The Chameleons". Don't be a dick.
They all wrote the song, Bernard was NOT the sole composer and I believe Ian Curtis actually came up with the riff for Love will Tear us Apart.
you believe........ hahaha
Fall Out Boy??? WTF? Totally different generation...
also the style of how it is played is different to the original joy division one new order play it in their style and dont try to make it exactly the same as when they did it as joy division
its also not a cover either seen as bernard wrote the music bernard also sings it in his own style which is good
bernard composed all the music on joy divisions songs ian would right the lyrics to each song once bernard had given hime the music
NOT a cover.
exactly. only thing is that Bernard hasn't got Ian's voice but I can live with it:)
That's assuming one considers Joy Division and New Order to be the same band. Personally I don't.
Not a cover, but a brilliant version. Love it.
It's very similar to a Lightning Seeds song called "All I Want" from the late 80's
Not really
The Chameleons?? Pretty sure Doves were inspired by them too.
