Our leather craftsmen showcase their expertise as they breathe new life into worn-out Louis Vuitton sneakers. The leather backlining had completely worn through and the client thought they'd need to throw their beloved LV sneakers away. First the backlining was removed, stitched and recrafted, the leather was also recoloured to match the original Louis Vuitton color.

Hello! How are you? I am in desperate need. I have a Gucci mini tote Crossbody that comes with a magnet. The magnet is held in place by leather covering it. I went to open my messenger tote and the leather covering the magnet ripped right off and now there’s no way to close it. Do you folks repair things like this?

Great to see a true Artisan, as opposed to the ubiquitous Mister Minute shopping centre franchises, doing a craftman's work. Where are these skills taught in 2023? Was a little surprised the soles needed replacing given the condition of the shoes/boots? Clearly an expensive job, clearly justified in the case of quality English, German manufactured shoes.
Hi Robert, thanks for the comment. Many of our team have previous experience in shoe-making / cordwaining so can do this type of work. In saying that, finding staff with this type of experience can be difficult, particularly here in Australia... You're right in that the soles could've been less expensively repaired which we alluded to in our description. In this case it was the customers preference to have his Loakes completed resoled with JR leather. The majority of our clients have their shoes TOPY'd / Vibram'd which is a relatively less expensive repair but a long-lasting option!

It’s a very old bag with lot's of damaged, I think it looks a lot better after restoration. It would have turned out better if he'd used a Chanel stencil to reprint over the logo with gold tape, instead of cutting out a whole in the leather. The might have requested to keep the original logo.
Is this not 100% authentic leather? Why is it peeling inside? I always thought that leather did not peel or flake like this. Have I been mislead?

What kind of leather are you using to replace lining?
With old Chanel bags it's common for the light ones to have peeling inside pockets and lining. He should've used an edge attachment for perfectly straight lines. Also, a sewing wheel sews perfect circles and would have made his job a lot easier, instead of sewing it freehand. Better to practice sewing circles before sewing straight onto a project, you guys must be blind if you think his lines are straight. He did a great job colour matching and painting the bag. This was a valuable learning experience.
I think napa (lambskin) for the exterior, and leather for the interior lining. @@NewEnglandCharm
