I think Coach Jensen is in touch with the transfer portal and knows the available recruits across the country through their Director of Recruiting & Staff as can be seen over the last twelve months. You are correct saying they need a couple of really good Seniors and a couple Juniors for 25/26 to give stability for the 5 top-tier Freshmen coming in and from all accounts they are all exceptional talents. We would be amiss if we did not mention Coach Lisa Bluder & 22 Caitlin Clark and there impact in turning Iowa Hawkeyes into a sort-after Recruiting destination.

Okc only lost twice with 1 big so far. The other 3 losses Okc didn't even have a center on the floor. And yet, chet and ihart haven't even played on the floor together.

Great game. There is a lot of media talk about who is the next CC. For me it is HH. She has the "it" factor and is exciting to watch.

It’s a good team. They are talented, deep, and hungry. If they can get a few of their guards to consistently hit 3 point shots they have a chance to win the Big 10 tournament and get back to the NCAA tournament championship game. I don’t think they can get that far without a number of their guards becoming consistent in the 3 point game. But if they can put that together I think they could be very difficult to play in March. What I think they need to become a powerhouse. They have 5 very talented Freshmen on this years team and 3 very talented recruits coming in next year. But they will be losing 5 Seniors at the end of this season. It would be very helpful if they could get a star Senior or Junior guard and a star Senior or Junior center or forward through the transfer portal. If they don’t get those upper class men from the portal then they’ll be quite young for the 2025 - 2026 season. They will also need a strong recruiting class for the 2026 - 2027 season and the 2027 - 2028 season to protect this year’s Freshmen class and next year’s Freshmen class. Without 2 more seasons of strong recruiting classes the Seniors and Juniors won’t have enough talent below them to build Iowa into a consistent Elite 8 program. Although the transfer portal would be another way for them to have enough talent depth around this year’s Freshmen and next year’s recruits when they are Juniors and Seniors.

5 teams have won 70% of the WNCAA championships. They've been allowed to ''cartel'' a monopoly on HS talent and even worse their coaches misrepresent that they can train for the pros, or even worse in Dawn Staley's case - protect from racism, while they just win on stacking height and making a mockery of college ball - leaving most of their players with undeveloped talent. Any smart parent, who has kept clear of the Cartel Coolaid, would sent their daughter to Iowa where she will get more genuine community support, right minded development as a person, and coaching that fits her game to maximize her talent. She will have more fans - for her whole life - than could be found anywhere else. It really is that simple.

I would say Olsen is as good as, if not better, than Bueckers. She was 3rd behind Caitlin and Juju in points scored in the 23' season, wasn't she? She's definitely better than Bueckers in defensive guarding. Very few offence can pass through her 👍😊

It's not so much our legacy as it is the culture at Iowa, and a lot of that is the fans. We love our teams, our coaches, and our players. Our coaches seem like the never leave.......there's a reason for that. These girls want to be part of this family, because even though it is competitive, it is wholesome and you seem like you matter. And there is life after basketball.

I'm tired of people saying Vince is best "in game" dunker and whatnot but this people don't even think. if he can do "dunk contest worthy" dunks in game, what can't he do? it don't matter if it's in game or out game it's so stupid. He's the best dunker ever there's no one even close, I mean it not just by dunking or putting the ball on the rim because there's levels to it. what's missing with these players now is power and finesse. these players got difficult flashy dunks but sometimes can't even execute it and if they do, it looks sloppy as hell, they look like a chihuahua on a coke going 100 dunking. but with Vince, he got long arms, big arms, wide shoulders, strong core, he got everything. He's perfect for basketball and the way he dunks got so much power and elegance, hard to explain but it's poetry watching him dunk.
