This mod requires some soldering skills, make sure you're very careful or you might break your pedal. When drilling a hole in the side, make sure you make enough room for the new jack input so it doesn't collide with the other components.

I have been hospitalized for psychosis like 8 times now, and the last time was terrible. I had to get out and get back to work. I almost got evicted because missing work made me late on my rent. I don’t have the luxury of this. I can’t even afford the meds they prescribed me already. I just have to buckle down, not lose sleep, try to put my life back together, and hope I don’t go crazy again.
@@ScapeGoat77 I’m very sorry to hear that. I was very fortunate to have my bills covered by the state here in Norway, but that’s far from the norm. I wish you the best of luck, and may you get well and live a healthy prosperous life.

How do you know if your not just really high ? Or if it is a psychosis? Listening to this I believe I may have been in psychosis but isint that what a person smokes / take Shrooms for ? To have an alternate sense of reality to give you a new perspective on a particular situation ? I’m not sure but you didn’t really explain the difference…. Anyways nice blender model 👍 I had to stop smoking weed because it’s just a super big waste of time and money 💰, and certain jobs will test for thc… I am currently take Adderall (brand name) and it definitely helps my day to day…. Greetings from California Bay Area…. Love Germany by the way. I dated one of the best women I knew, was from Germany. She was actually much larger than me (proportionate) and not so pretty in the face… but now that I am more mature I would have loved to have been with her… most people think German woman are mean and bossy but I found that is my preference because I actually like smarter women than myself and I thrive from the guidance… anyways I kinda digress ( ADHD) lol. Take care 👍 Thanks 🙏🏽
@@Plant_lover_495 Hey man! That’s an excellent question, and you can definitely argue that the difference is close to none! I guess the problem with a psychosis is that the high never wears off, or at least not in a reasonable timeframe. This is can be a problematic situation where someone who might just need some time to land, ( or a downer like benzos ) get prematurely sent to a clinic or hospital, prolonging the trip so to speak. Difficult decision to make though, if someone is seriously ill, they probably should get help asap you know.. In my case I definitely needed help, at least the first time around, but I actually suspect that someone to talk to and a downer would have landed me the other times. Cheers from Norway! 🇳🇴🤘

Mostly bad for me but some of him i like. He is evily funny if you can laugh at insults to yourself. Im confused if i dont try to take my meds and get rid of him i can have episodes, but i like having company everyday. Idk what to do
Hey! Thank you for sharing, being in that state sounds bothersome my friend. There’s definitely some ‘fun’ in tampering and exploring these beings and states, but I want you to try to remember back to the days when you weren’t deep in this voice. There’s a whole world of opportunities waiting for you, and your friends and family miss you. Try to see the excitement and wonder of getting into a normal life again. ❤️🙏
Thank you for your wisdom and for your example of success in illness
Would you say that people who have experienced Psychosis should not take Psychedelics since their brain are prone to not handle them well?
This is a very good and hard question. I think the number one problem with how people get affected by psychedelics is due to the illegal state it’s in, and therefore at the get go creating a very unfortunate set and setting. In a set and setting where it is legal, socially accepted, and surrounded by professional medical staff/trip sitters, the possibility of a positive outcome is much higher. However, I’m not a medical expert, but there seems to be a genetic correlation or simply a personality trait that make some people even more sensitive to these experiences, for better or for worse. In my case, definitely for the worse. I hope and believe that one day we will reach the point of psychedelic maturity as a society where as many people as possible can benefit from its medicinal properties, but as of today I would advise everyone, especially sensitive people prone to mental illness to stay away from these substances, until we can achieve a proper safe and healing set and setting.

Wow, what a sincere and inspiring display of CANDOR! That was one of the most thoughtful, and courageous demonstrations of vulnerability I've come across online. Your even keeled delivery is so utterly genuine and disarming. This will save lives. When it's a dark season of life, and we are in this much pain...we forget "this too shall pass" and soon we become despondent. My path was different but I arrived to a similar place, my friend. I know it doesn't take long to begin thinking of permanent solutions to temporary problems. Picture this video resonating with someone at the event horizon, someone who stared into that abyss like we did. Here you come, a sliver of light spills into the room along with your extended hand. Powerful! Kudos for using this platform in the way you've done here. This took guts. This took heart. This took the audacity to give a damn. Thanks for caring about yourself enough to care about others. Best wishes to you and yours. - Rick P.S. - I volunteer at a recovery facility and have many friends in the field. This video is solid gold. Please let me know if you're ok with me passing it along to the clinicians. If not, hey I understand no big deal at all. Just couldn't NOT ask when it's better than anything I've ever seen. Thanks again =)
Thank you so much Rick! This has to be the nicest feedback I’ve ever gotten. 🙏 The goal with this video is exactly to have a transparency and sincerity that might help or inspire others, so please, use it and share it as much as you want if you think it will help! 🙌❤️

How much did it cost to build that studio ?
I was lucky enough to be given the space by my parents when they rebuilt the house. The egg cartons themselves are dirt cheap, but all the equipment I’ve invested in I’ve probably spent over 10k on 🫣😅

There are people who should never take drugs. This man appears to be one of them. They are somewhat uncommon but they exist.
How did you afford all that hospital?
Norways healthcare system.. It’s a socialist country with a lot of money, so none of it was spent by me or my family
I'll save you a half hour. Psychosis is caused by a few things, number 1, mind reading. You can't mind read. Stop trying. 2, clairvoyance. You can't know the future. Stop trying. 3, trauma. If it happened it happened. Maybe not on purpose. Maybe with zero bad intentions. However, bad things still happen. Sometimes your memories are true no matter how much you deny them. If you want to escape psychosis, start from the assumption that people are GOOD even if you disagree and if you are 100% honest, life will 100% treat you better. Stop lying, stop making up stories unless you're clear it's fiction. Stop believing in things you can never prove or spreading lies about things you've never experienced. Here's a good one, the moon landing! I don't knew if it's ever happened but i can't say it didn't either. I wasn't there. but you might say, all this evidence says it didn't happen. Bull. You don't even understand what they're taking about, you've just been persuaded by someone else's bs story. Psychosis is 100% enforced by religious thinking. Stop. Lying is the worst and cascades into more lying.
That’s a good way of putting it actually, it’s a way of lying to oneself. I do believe I offer more insights than that during the half hour though 😅
Knowledge is power. We are our own best doctors. Never trust a single source of information, always triangulate from unrelated sources. Research everything you feel and notice about yourself. Focus on understanding yourself. Focus on your gnosis, this also requires trusting the self (work on this, too). Your story has only just begun, dude, you have soooooo much more you get to discover, you're going to be a completely different person on the other side of your gnosis. If you have the heart to dive into the self, the level of freedom is phenomenal. Begin by researching quantum sciences, spiritual alchemy, and Shadow Work (Carl Jung) or inner child work. Trust your heart, not your gut, find your true self, find your truth, and the humans you meet, you'll change forever. ❤ Peace.
Had a psychotic break ten years ago induced by weed and am in a much better place now too. Thanks for sharing your story and perspective. I feel like I'm still putting the pieces together from my childhood traumas even before drugs and it's making more sense all the time.
My pleasure man, glad to hear you’re doing better! It’s a heavy experience, but can be filled with wisdom and experience if you get out at the better end
In november 2022, I had a burnout, and then I took cannabis because I thought it would calm the situation in my head, but in fact it created even more chaos in my head, I didn't know who I was, what was happening, I simply disappeared. Afterwards I had suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety and when I closed my eyes I would see vivid pictures of places and people. I stopped working for a year I was taking olanzapine 7.5 mg of medication, after 9 months the psychiatrist stopped the therapy and then suicidal thoughts, depression returned. I am now on 2.5 mg of olanzapine at bedtime and I am stable. I have none of the symptoms. A year and 2 months have already passed. I started working and training again and slowly return to normal life. btw, a very inspiring story, it helped me a lot. Thank you Greetings from Germany
Thank you for sharing man, makes me warm that you’re doing good again! I also in fact was on olanzapine, and it was a good medication for me. Slowly getting off it also helped me getting the ‘excitement’ of life back, but it has to be done gradually. Best of luck forwards, friend, I am confident you’ll make it and will have a plentiful wonderful life a head of you 🙏
Hey dude, thanks so much for uploading this. I took "acid" (most likely NBOMe, an acid knock off) back when I was a freshman in college and it definitely didn't do wonders for my mental health. Luckily I recovered without any psychological/pharmaceutical help but I really wish I knew the risks of doing psychedelics before I took them. Thanks for sharing so openly about your experiences with these powerful substances.
My pleasure man! That is a serious risk with psychedelics in a state of illegality, where we don’t have any idea what we actually get , especially with LSD and NBOMe, or ‘ecstasy’ which used to be pure MDMA. Doesn’t exactly help with the “set and setting” aspect 😋
Thank you brother
Please check I replied your comment . Thanks
I have a last question . Since 6 months I’m recovering from drug induced psychosis. After recovering from it . I want to become an athlete and body builder . Can I full fill this dream ? Before this psychosis I was a gym freak guy. One more question while recovering is it possible to work at McDonald’s or dishwasher job ? Part or full time
Sure thing man! Becoming a professional bodybuilder is immensely difficult, but working out is great for your health either way. I personally worked at a grocery store, and that was fine, however it has to be done in portions and gradually adjusted so you don’t get too stressed or overworked
@@TheDingsBoms I have seen a guy from Ireland who is an athlete and body builder after a drug induced psychosis . My dream is to live Independently . My parents are supporting me but I don’t feel like taking support . I don’t know how much time it’s gonna take for me to feel normal and move out independently.
@@ashkiratdhillon7579 I see! During this period, I think it’s wise to receive and accept as much support as possible, especially by the ones close to you. Best of luck my man! 💪
How long it took for you to recover from the experience and start working or studying ?
It varied from time to time, first time was the longest, took me about six months after starting to get better, that’s a year and a half in total. The next times was shortened down to months 😊
Hii Richard I’m recovering from drug induced psychosis . It’s been 6 months I’m recovering from my psychotic episode . Is it possible to work after one year ?
Hi! I’m happy to hear you’re recovering. It completely depends, I would advise having an arrangement with your boss to give you flexibility so you can ‘dip your toes’ before working like before! Having work can improve the health though, so there’s a balance there where it can help your recovery, but too much can be stressful and trigger symptoms
Wow! Thank you!
I have schizophrenia how do I recover? Is it demonic?
Hi! It is not demonic, don’t worry my friend. These illnesses are the results of brain-, and thought patterns, so we need to break those circuits somehow. For me and for most people, I believe this involves setting some new good healthy routines like working out, eating healthy, socializing and stimulating your intellect with reading or puzzles etc. Slowly but surely you will unravel these treacherous and untrue thought patterns and get closer and closer back to our material shared ‘boring’ reality.
@@TheDingsBoms I tried but it is not helpful even meds didn't work later I heard from pastors what it is demonic
Hello, there is lot of studies between intestinal and brain connection. Many time food intolerances and microbiome imbalance can cause schizophrenia.
Why would you ask if it’s demonic?

Wunderschön 🙏🏻✨☘️♥️
Richard, I found profound similarities between our experiences. I used to think my disease was going to be life-long and that was really discouraging. Your story not only inspired me but also provided me with hope. Thank You!
My pleasure friend, glad I could help 🙏❤️
@@TheDingsBoms if I may, are you still taking those antipsychotics? If no, how did you get off them?
@@yuzhouzheng I am medicine-free in fact, got off them before I was advised to, but I’m doing fine! I think it varies a lot from person to person whether it’s a good idea. For me I felt that getting Ill again was not a risk, the medicine took more from me than they gave, but that’s no guarantee for good success. Either way, if you want to get off them you should do it gradually and slowly 😊❤️
@@TheDingsBoms Thank you for your advice.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. My son is coming out of his second hospitalization. He used a lot of cannabis and he is young. I find your video to be very helpful . I would have a question for you and your answer could be very helpful for me to help my son and i making the best decision for his health. My question is: Were you on medication when you got your second and third episode? Were you taking your medication and smoking cannabis and it led you to get hospitalized or you had stop taking your medication and continued smoking weed? Another question without being to indiscret is: Are you still taking medication and do you think it’ s necessary to take it for the rest of your life to stay away from another psychotic episode?
I’m glad I can help. 😊 I was not on any medication on my second and third episode, I stopped using medication much earlier than recommended. I am not on any medication now, although it is recommended based on statistics. To me the downside of being ‘down’/‘heavy’ and apathetic from the medicine made it worth getting off of, but it’s a risk one have to seriously consider, and professional advice is probably what one should stick to. I personally did not, and I’m glad I’m not on any medication, but I’m confident that for me a trigger would be only if I start using substances again, which I don’t do. But I think this is very different from person to person, and I might even be wrong about myself.. Hope there are insights of value here, feel free to ask any more questions, I’m happy to help 😊❤️
@@TheDingsBoms Absolutely valuable insights!! Thank you so much. Your answer to my questions are so much appreciated. There’s nothing to compare with having someone who share his experience of this rocky road from the core. Experience is the greatest teacher !! There is a history of cannabis and alcohol abuse in my family, I've been curious about trying at least cannabis but even at 19 i cant bring myself to after what i saw it made my family act like, its silly to say outloud but its just too scary for me, I know that's not what this video is about but I feel like too many people treat cannabis and alcohol like it's user-friendly and harmless or something meanwhile im still trying to overcome my fear for it, mental illness and neurodiversity also run in my family , so I feel like I should adresse that before I get anywhere near stuff anyways lol
You’re not missing out, I would argue the quality of life gets richer without alcohol or cannabis 😊❤️
one year of hospitalization, we cant afford things like this here, in the US. You will be discharged in a week, maximum 3 weeks
I smoked weed everyday to deal with anxiety/depression. I convinced myself and truly thought that if only I were to smoke x amount a day I'd be fine. "I'm only having 2-3 joints a day. I'm only having 4 joints or spliffs a day there's nothing wrong with that"... I couldn't be told by anyone. I didn't listen to anyone else nor the warnings from my brother. You cannot put into words how much of a mistake this was. Yeah, I enjoyed smoking it and yes it made be feel good initially - however - sooner or later I developed psychosis for the first ever time (once during the pandemic and once last year and both occasions I was smoking) which lead to serious issues! The first period of illness resulted in a stay at a mental health unit which was no fun in of itself. Paranoia, delusions, increased energy, insomnia, increased anxiety, an almost sudden extreme religious belief (I was never religious before) believing I was some powerful spiritual figure. Things to do with Satan, The Matrix, the government actively listening in on me, unbreakable denial because you outright and repeatedly refuse to acknowledge that anything is wrong with you etc etc etc. You are simply unaware and trapped in your mind for however long. My mind latched onto countless silly, far-fetched and unbelievable notions that I couldn't function normally and together with the continued use of cannabis... overstimulated... and... the psychosis was exacerbated. It is so MUCH to deal with for you personally and also your family/friends plus anyone in public hearing your deluded ramblings or witnessing your actions. (I didn't sleep for 3-4 days at a time and seriously believed I'd reached some sort of nirvana/spiritual awakenment when in actual fact it was psychosis as a result of smoking various strains of weed). To anyone who has read this... I am not the only one. I know many people who have had a very similar experience when using weed and other drugs for that matter. It is simply not worth it. It's not worth the money spent to acquire it. It's not worth the serious mental repercussions and the very real potential trouble you could be involved in in terms of the law. A large majority of men who're in mental health units in my country (particularly younger men) are in there because of drug induced psychosis thanks to weed and the like. You can't always trust what a dealer tells you either because at the end of the day they're out to make money and capitalise on your addiction/dependency. Another main factor is that you likely won't always know whether it's been tampered with, what's been put in it (i.e. spice, glass, LSD, ketamine, cocaine etc) or whether the THC content is plainly too much for you. Laced weed containing highly addictive drugs is common and it's largely done so that you will go back to the same dealer and buy more. Through the years many drug dealers have focused on strengthening THC content to give a greater high too which is unnecessary and can also be dangerous... Laying on the floor flat out unable to move your forearms/gasping whilst attempting regulate your breathing whilst going haywire isn't a great feeling! The damage it can do to your brain even in terms of memory can be profound. I know of a lad who's in his early twenties and already has major memory issues because of smoking weed. Try weaning yourself off it in a safe way with the close support of family/friends and medical professionals if needed. You do not wish or chance experiencing any of what I've went through because it's hellish I can assure you. The depression that followed coming out of psychosis and realising all the nonsense I was coming out with along with all the embarrassment caused was very very intense to process too. I hesitated commenting with all what I've put because even recalling the memories is quite difficult and still surreal to know that it all happened in the first place but I've moved on the best way I could, and if this info helps someone else then I'm all for that!! Great video Richard!
Love it 😊
My mother bought a labradoodle named Sugar, I would sometimes jokingly call her Gangar and then I found this band xD
1:40 in and I cant watch anymore, because of course you are God -everyone is. And everyone is Jesus Christ also in an allegorical sense. Clearly no one is literally Jesus Christ or God because neither can be known, but you are the family of man and they are both concepts of the mind of man. It's the scarcity/lack/wanton mindset of society that makes up all these fake labels and stories of what is mental health and mental illness in otherwise able bodied healthy people. mental illness is a term for those who cannot handle a world of unnaturalness and falseness, what is wrong with that? Unnaturalness and falseness is why religions change, the world changes and lower court laws change so often. Look to see what is changeless in those three things and that is the only reality in the experience- tings like Gods benign healing miraculous love for all, harm no other without a just reason, and respect the natural boundaries and basic human needs of Self and others. Funny how a planet so populated can be so lonely to so many, yet people still believe in mental health and illness. It's really a joke.
I'm Norwegian too. I had mild psychosis and several hospital visits...I smoked weed. Its more dangerous than we think. I was sure everyone in my psych hospital was against me. It still scares me to this day because that is so irrational. I love your style and honesty.
Tusen takk! 🙏 There are for sure real dangers with cannabis, where especially a certain demographic is exposed to serious mental illnesses that we as a public are not well enough aware of.
@TheDingsBoms Tusen Takk 🙏 Your welcome. I like how you just got into your history in this video. Good confidence and sound dampening room!! Thanks for the heart.
Dude I was off weed for 6 months and those people in the hospital were probably after you. Sorry
Can you tell about the contents of your thoughts, delusions, paranoia and the like?
It takes too much time unfortunately, I can only generalize, outline common patterns and pick out tidbits. Every episode is unique, but the common traits are delusions as a result of feedback-loops in the reward circuits of the brain, like stature of grandeur and paranoia
@@TheDingsBoms thanks, maybe one time there will be a video. I think what I experienced, - mainly caused by sleep deprivation- but self medication with psychedelics also played a role, - resembles a lot of your story. Fortunately it was shortlived and didn't come back. Its not unheard of that people with bipolar-(which I was diagnosed with recently) are prone to trigger mania and the following depression by multiple sources. the crazy high with delusions of being superior, and when paranoia kicked in, it all went to hell so badly. The worst was to have an long planned important meeting far away in an unfamiliar surrounding which I attended none the less. Only at home and with the aid of sleeping pills it stopped and brought me to the total bottom. And only a few weeks before I thought I was cured of depression, haha
