Welcome to my Channel! My name is Ellené Venter, but my friends and family just call me Elle. I am a South African living and working in China with my husband, Gregory Venter. My family, whom are usually the "Company" I keep on these adventures, and I have always been passionate about travelling locally as well as abroad. This Channel is a collection of memories from our unforgettable travels and adventures. It's a space where I can be creative and share my love for travel and filmmaking with like-minded people.

Experience Victoria Falls from both sides of the border.
In this video we are going on a road trip to Victoria Falls and we will be crossing three borders until our final destination in Zambia. Victoria Falls is a waterfall on the Zambezi River that straddles the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Due to it's remarkable natural beauty and cultural significance, the Victoria Falls was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1989 and is on of the seven natural wonders of the world. On this trip we will be visiting the Vic Falls from both sides of the border.

Nice place to stay, no doubt. It is quite pricey though! Along the coast, I have made it only up to Terrace Bay, and then also explored the area coming from the interior, driving down the dry bed of the Hoarusib River from Purros.
Yes, staying there is not cheap. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The Skelton Coast is such a beautiful and unique place to visit. We also really enjoyed our drive in the dry Hoarusib River bed. Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment!

Thank you for the kind comment. My husband and I live in China and bought this hunting camera here. We took it back to South Africa as a gift for my parents. It doesn't seem to have a name on the box, but it shoots in 4K and works great.

Hi there. I'm glad the video was helpful. The name of the lodge is Spitzkoppen Lodge. You can visit their website at www.spitzkoppenlodge.com/ for more information or to make a booking. The conducted tour on the buggy was included in our stay at that time. There are various other tours you can also book with the lodge, but I don't think you can self drive there. You can maybe just ask the lodge to make sure on the self drive question.
